A Couple of days ago I bought myself a lovely new NXZT Zero chassis, (http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/5231/nzxtzero1gu8.jpg) a habu laser gaming mouse (http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/8949/microsofthabuangle2blacdm8.jpg) and a Saitek II keyboard (http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/8656/07101oco5.jpg) from Overclockers.co.uk (www.Overclockers.co.uk).

Well exited I was. 'Coz I'm a it nerdy like that. The city link delivery man came today, I rushed the boxes upstairs with glee... I ripped them open like a rabid dog would, but using my hands instead of my teeth because I'm not actually a rabid dog I just meant that metaphorically like.

The fucking chassis was dented, the side panel wouldn't fit on and the paint was all scratched off on the dinted area. Twatbags and nadjam.

Moving on. The mouse doesn't fucking work. Damn you, sado-masochistic universe.

Keyboard's ace though. That's something at least. It changes colour and has a dimmer switch, volume and playback control buttons too, comfy backlit buttons.

I rang them folk yonder at overclockers, they said, "We'll get 'em picked up tomorrow" after keeping me on hold mid conversation for 15 minutes. Happy ending! I'm not stating that in an anticipatory asian massage parlour way, although I might treat myself to a wank later.

You have any damaged on arrival horror stories?

I almost thought i had a DOA when we got some parts from the USA and bought them back here. I put everything in, and started it, only to have no video output, then beep codes. The beepcode matched a very generic meaning, something along the lines of Dead CPU, Dead Motherboard, Dead RAM. Thankfully it was only the ram which had somehow popped half out of its slot (it was damned hard enough to get in)

Also I once was sold a graphics card which had another completely unrelated random CD in it, which had a hole in it, as well as a scratched driver disc. The card didn't work, which i realised why when i looked at the other two discs in the box, was obviously returned by someone else as DOA.

Popping into say that the title of this thread sounds like it should be in the gaming forum instead, announcing some inane new shooter.
