This thread has been done before, quite recently.
But anyway, my favourite ep is "Gunmen Of The Apocalypse", probably cause its the one I've seen the most times.

ahhh red dwarf, I personally loved backwards, thought that was a classic. Doesnt anyone else feel like the movie may be a huge disaster... i mean, u only have to look at the last 2 or 3 series of reddwarf to see that it went downhill...and kept going....and going.....right the way down, no no further.....yes...under hell, there you go.

any news about release dates i wouldnt take as gospel--i have been hearing about this movie for over 6 years now and it should have been made 4 years ago-then they started the delaying-darn them-----neways bes episode is either (the one where rimmer goes insane-take me to the potato king and all) or back to reality
I'm not having a go at the thread cos its a good thread, and I know its ironic cos I was told the same thing earlier today but ...
MEEEEEEEEEJA is where this belongs

my favorite episode would have to be the one were the crew go to that planet where they have to obey justice. That is good. But another wicked ep is the one where Lister teaches Cryton to lie.

2)alive again, exploded
3)hologram, ceased to continue existance, holo virus.

i love the one where they're on that planet and lister has to marry that thing so they can get some object which they need to get off the planet. kryten says some weird word, then rimmer says the word back to him with the added ''or - SMART ALEC METAL GIT''
cracked me up.

1 - You missed out Ace Rimmer dying in "Stoke me a Clipper..." which tho you might argue isn't our Rimmer, he's still A Rimmer from a parallel universe which is technically still our Rimmer - :P
2 - On this theory, there is also the episode "Rimmer World" - comically mickey-taking an old 50's film called "West World" - There are wars and murders, killing thousands of Rimmers, yet these are grantedly not on-screen, so I'll let that one slide - :P :P :P
3 - In "Me Squared", Rimmer's exact duplicate has been created (in the previous episode). At the end of that episode, his duplicate is wiped, thus ceasing his existence.
4 - Rimmer's dramatic demise in the first episode is repeated once or twice in later episodes.
5 - In the final episode of Series 6, the crew are wiped out by a shot from their future selves (Unless you watch the Smeg-ups tape, where the alternate ending shows Rimmer saving the day :P), thus killing the future crew through a time paradox - including future Rimmer.
Hmmm, can't think of any others that spring to mind just now - :P
Im no sci-fi buff, but I LOVE my Red Dwarf :):):):):):)

Har! Red Dwarf is great. Monty Pyton, Red Dwarf, Weebl and Bob and Red vs Blue... Comedy heaven.
Kryten: Sir, space core directive clearly states that a hologramatic crew member must lay down his life in the event of an emercency (ok, i forgot the exact wording here)
Rimmer: True, but what about the rimmer directive which just as clearly states: "No chance you metal bastard".
White hole - series 4
One of the best episodes ever written. Love it.

I love red dwarf like an old sock it is the bestest sitcom well almost but it’s up there with a greats
I don’t know what episode it’s from but I love the quote
RIMMER: ok change up to red alert
KRYTEN: are you quite sure it would mean changing the bulb
And
KRYTEN: they have a technology far in advance to our own
LISTER: so do the Albanian state washing machine company
But the best thing about red dwarf is the joy and hours of fun they have brought by the simple 4-letter word smeg.
When kryten calls rimmer a smeg head it make me laugh every time and even when I think about it, it brings a smile to my face smeeeeeeeeeeg hheeeeeeeeed
comic genius!
