So, I thought this would be decent idea for a forum game - one fuelled on the creativity of us fellow forumites. Basically, we hold rounds of thinking up stories. The winner of the round gets to set the theme or background for the next tale and it carries on from there.
As you've probably worked out, good plots are vital to make a good story. Of course, the dialogue and description matters a lot too but you never really get a good adventure from a bad plot, well, there is one exception - and that is Donnie Darko.
Anyway, write your small synopsis and post it here. I will judge in a week's time and then a new round will begin.
Round 1 Theme
A story about a gang of thieves and criminals.

This is the wrong way to go about it.
On my forum, we had a competition called Short story competition. SSC.
A person sets a theme, people post stories and the "setter" judges. The winner sets the next comp.

I second that. That would keep everyone from churning out novels.
Do it, Revolver Ocelot, and I will rep the arse off you!

Short Story about A gang of criminals and theives!
It was one of those nights. Those nights where you hear the blood-curdling screams echoing through the village. It's a bad neighbourhood because dangerous men stroll here. They are known everywhere: in dank caves, spacious skies, and all of time. Some worship these demons of darkness. Why? Who knows? To dream to be like kings, to be feared, or to be known...The Black Society.
( The Black Society is known as the Triad, the chinese mafia, gang of organised criminals and theives i guess that works)
