After listening to my less than jake cd many many times through this evening, I was wondering what makes you guys want to jump around and sing along, er what bands and songs I mean. I definitly like some ska action to get in a great mood.

If I feel sad or unhappy,
I listen to dEUS or Air,
really helps. :x

As for singing and jumping up,
there are just too many songs that do that trick. ;)

Yeah you have a point there, that's one of the reasons punk is so great...

the bees generally make sunny ambience. that's happy. sort of.

i find the kinks are somewhat cheerful also.

Oh I like some OK Go or like the Vines (but not the hives, the white stripes, etc) they have fun catchy music. Especially the "Get over it" song.

Isnt it ironic that perhaps the most depressing song ive ever heard is The Streets - Stay Positive?

Also listen to Chicane - Dont Give Up. That cheers me up:)

[edit] that version of Soldier Girl is amazing!

I whole-heartedly agree.

If i'm depressed or a sandwich short of a picnic, i put on Feeder or Greenday.

But thats just me:D

True.

Now, the streets aren't exactly the most happy bunch of people out there ...
