Who do you think will win the Premiership? Dont just vote for your fave team, vote for the one you think can win (says me, the Man Utd fan who thinks we'll win it :D )

Football might not have been as"high-octane" before the premiership but at least it wasn't forcing clubs into financial crisis and making sure that only 2-3 teams won the cup in continuous rotation. That and it is impossible for most teams to get in and stay in and if you faulter once your out on your arse.
Lol just look at the scottish premiership, or old firm as it better known! :D

C'mon the hoops
It's been a 2 horse race as usual..with the 2nd horse being a donkey ;)
I think Arsenal will win it. I mean look at their performance today in the cup. Theyre already, what, 5 points clear at the top of the prem?

It's Arsenal's season I reckon, though t'Scum were top at Christmas which is usualy the best indicator. The bottom of the table is the bit that is concerning me right now. I'm quite happy for Leeds, Wolves and Portsmouth to enjoy languishing down there. City have got to start winning games though, or they could be relegated.

Should've made a poll!! IMO I think Arsenal will win the league. They are by far the best team and deserve to win it. (i am a Liverpool fan btw)

Arsenal this season.
5 points clear already, and have rarely looked like losing a game, although have had some very dodgy moments (*cough...Leicester...cough*). But assuming injuries/suspensions don't steal their team, they don't really look like losing a game.
I think the prawn sandwich eaters are suffering slightly without Ferdinand, and have lost games they shouldn't have.
Can't say I'm impressed with the season this year. The difference between 1st and 4th (in points) is about the same as the difference between 4th and 20th - that's just stupid.
Blackburn haven't been doing too well either, we've had a good couple of games though, a win at Middlesborough (not a 0-0 draw ) and drew to Newcastle, but this season was meant to be consolidating our European position, not fighting to get into the top half of the table...

Arsenal. I don't think they've lost a game in the league this season although drawn a fair few. Anyway, aslong Scum Utd don't win it, I don't really care.

Been surprised by Blackburn this season. They had a great season last year but have been shite this season. When you think they did the double over Arsenal last season... Seems a long time ago!

The team that is top at christmas generally doesn't win the Premiership. But I think Man Utd (If we stop defending like a Sunday league team) will manage to keep the title oop norf where it belongs.
I'm hoping Leeds go down, other than that I couldn't care less...oh but I hope Liverpool don't get 4th
Arsenal to win:( I think my team (Chelsea) can compete with Man U but It's definitely not our season. How about 4th place though eh? I had my money on Fulham but without Saha they look very much so weaker. I'd say Newcastle or Liverpool for 4th if Liverpool can up their standards \\Z0la//

4th place... Arrrrgggghhhh!! I think it is gonna come down to the last game of the season for us again. It was Chelsea last year and we lost. This season our last game is Newcastle @ home. Damn you fixture makers!!

It's sad when people feel the need to post when they know fuck all
Man Utd fans out number all other fans combined in Manchester
The only Man U shirts I saw in Manchester (I was there in the summer) were on shelves in shops and on tourists with cameras around Old Trafford. Manchester is mainly blue

You'll find that depending on where you go in Manchester it is roughly 50-50 between united and city. Unless you count the cockney students. In between city and other local teams (Bolton, Burnley, Blackburn etc) plus the glory hunting Arsenal and Chealsea "fans" United are outnumbered.

what about the glory hunting man united fans:rolleyes:

Glory hunting united fans are matched in number by glory hunting Arsenal fans and by glory hunting Chelsea fans, so that's a 2:1 ratio right there. Genuine fans are 50:50 comparing Red and Blue so with Bolton, Blackburn, Burnley, Oldham, Stockport fans then you have outnumbered United fans.

With the genuine fans, glory 'fans', execs and 'fans' who basically just seem to like Man Utd because they're the only ones thet get to watch (which isn't the same as a glory fan) the number of Man Utd supporters equals, if not is slightly greater than the combined number of other teams' fans.
The number of Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool (their numbers have dropped in the last years) glory fans isn't as high as Utd ones (unfortunately)....they've just risen quickly
