Everybody knows the sort of song, which is great on its own, but it simply amazing with the music video.
Post your favourites here, preferably with a youtube link for the video.

My personal favourites include:
R.E.M. - Losing My Religion (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=M7vs21ZKrKM)
Counting Crows - A Long December (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=UPFdziXnKUc)
Radiohead - Karma Police (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=5LeLAELIxKY)

So which videos do you love?

Possibly only for hardcore Beatles fans, but their award winning video for their 1995 release Free As a Bird is awesome. Virtually every frame is packed full of references to Beatles songs and other Beatles related things, it's impossible to take them all in on the first viewing. And it's an excellent song.

Every so often I'm reminded about the video for Roger Sanchez - Another Chance (http://youtube.com/watch?v=eUzKbKQa3ZI). Apart from the song itself being a classic trance tune that straddles the line between cheesy and absolutely fantastic, the video is just really sweet and a fairly original idea. Aside from the cheesy dialogue between the woman and Ian McShane lookalike in the middle, the video rocks my socks off. I also like that unlike most trance videos, the woman in it isn't ridiculously perfect. Pretty, yeah, but it isn't a video populated only by plastic dolls (cp: Shivers by Armin Van Buuren (http://youtube.com/watch?v=wGf4gn6FSkI) - a class tune but a stupid video).

All the classics that I've thought of have been mentioned. Here are a few that are worth mentioning though.

Metallica - One (http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=JwW9L_qzqp8) is quite good.
Queens of the Stone Age - No one Knows (http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=YnyRUzgqj7k), though maybe not the most impressive videos, is quite stylish.
The Foo Fighters make some brilliant videos. Learn to Fly, which has already been mentioned, is probably one of the best, but Monkey Wrench (http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=yDZ_6rA-jpA), DOA (http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=O2_0Rx780Uk), and Everlong (http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=OHdwZCVZmg8) are pretty epic too.

For pure comedy, The Eagles of Death Metal - I want you so bad (http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=xe6p-5tUh3M) is a classic video.

A pretty heft bump, but you know, people would only jump on me if I made a new thread.

This video (http://youtube.com/watch?v=jtilZB3TiDg) for "World of Flowers" by DJ Sayem (which you may recognise from a Nokia ad, about a year or so old) is really really weird. Needlessly weird. But that's the French for you. And despite this weirdness, it's really affecting. It definitely stays with you. It's also incredibly sensuous in a way that most American/English RnB singers would envy if they got a chance to see it. It helps that the song, of course, is amongst the best songs I've heard for a long long time.

There are so many amazing videos out, but I find while I'm absolutely in awe by some, Invincible - Muse (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-moeVw_r_4) was the only one so far to attract me.

There are a few factors for that - I do like rainbows. But mainly the way it goes seamlessly from start to finish, from caveman to modern to future in little toys looks amazing. The guitar solo is made look spectacular with a big UFO attack (did you expect anything different from them really?)
Something I've spotted from looking at it again is that the doors opening is made to look like the big bang, and while the dinosaurs are 2D, the cavemen are preceded by 2D characters and then you see them as 3D, and that continues through with all the humans.

I just love it - oh, a good thing to wait for is when the camera looks up at the buildings, you might get a feeling of extreme vertigo from it.

I think a lot will disagree, but there'd be no point in me trying to pick a safe option.

Duality - Slipknot easily a good song to video combination. Just makes you so wound up that you could crush a grape with your bare hands.
