I think xbox sales and Gamecube sales vary qute a bit. Not too long ago the xbox was outselling the game cube in japan, the gamecubes home country, although i'm guessing the playstation 2 still reigns supreme there

Someone in my class was, like #1 in the nation (US) for some F-Zero thing for a while, 12something for world I believe, most of the top 100 were japanese.

I have a gamecube. I <3 my gamecube. I need more games though. -_- But they just lowered the price to $100, I don't see why they're stopping.

Gamecube is far from dead, it's just trailing at the back there with Xbox in the sales..
Playstation 2 had the hype and the 'back catelog' to ensure it stayed at the top of the sales. despite the fact it's the weakest console in terms of graphics and power, and, in my opinion, game-quality (all the bestest PS2 games are available on other systems, unlike many of Gamecube or Xbox's best)


back to the topic in hand: F Zero GX looks f'ckin' sweet, but it's not out here 'til the 31st of October, so i've still gotta wait a week... but it's definately at the top of my 'buy list'
the original on Snes was brilliant for it's time, then the N64 version was one of the coolest racing games ever.
this new Gamecube update looks like far superior to any 'space race' game i've ever seen. :)
plus the fact it's been co-made by Nintendo AND Sega can't be bad.. i remember when both developers were dominating the market as rivals.

gotta make the most of F Zero in the 2 weeks after it's released though, as the sequal to the other fantastic Racing game is out just a couple of weeks later; Mario Kart. :cool:
