I think this year's competition is going to be a lot harder than last, as teams such as those highlighted will be competing.

Still, if Spurs make a decent signing on deadline day, and get a little bit of luck (I'M LOOKING AT YOU SEVILLA), we may JUST have a chance of reaching the final.

Which would be lovely.

Good draw for us Evertonians. Ukraine will be a hard place to go to, but piss easy at Goodison, we'll wrap it up there and be in the group stages before the 2nd leg :D

All 4 teams should progress to the group stage. Can't see Bolton getting far though, without big Sam they're just not the same team. Spurs and Everton should get to the quarters at least, both are good enough to go all the way.

But why are Bolton playing the bad guy from sonic? Robotnic?

Lol, Blackburn. And Bolton, to some extent.
Rabotnicki Kometal 1-1 Bolton
Larissa 2-0 Blackburn

Rabotnicki always seem to catch my attention on Football Manager. Always liked them for the Sonic connection.

Seriously, the result tonight was as embarrassing as shitting yourself on national television. Only saving grace was that Blackburn did even worse than us.

Meanwhile, Spurs are 4-0 up against Anorthosis at half time.

edit: 6-1, final score.

Defoe scored by far the 2 best goals.

Bolton are in trouble. Not just in the tie, in general.

Spurs are easily through. Defoe deserves ore game time.

Are you Collina in disguise?

Fucking awful ref. How can he say that two players had one foot each in the penalty box when AJ actually scored the penalty, and then for the re-take and the second penalty, the exact same infringement happens and you let go?

Moyes doesn't learn either. 4-2-1-3? Wtf is that you moron? Neville, Carsley and AJ need to sod off.

WHAT A LOAD OF SHITE.

WHAT A LOAD OF SHITE.Fallen out of love with Andy Johnson? He was Everton's saviour last year.

UBERBUMP.

Jamie Smith scores twice as Aberdeen qualify for the last 32 of the Uefa Cup with a fine 4-0 win over Copenhagen.

WHAT?!?

That is an amazing result.

I originally thought that and, of course any British team coming through is great, but Copenhagen aren't really a European pedigree side and only recorded one win this season in the UEFA groups. I think people overestimate them since they beat United 1-0.

Either way, still a great result from an Aberdeen side I exptected nothing from in Europe this season.

4 wins out of 4.

Europe better beware. :D

Weyhey, Bordeaux managed to get in despite being utterly nul!

Aberdeen, methinks, isn't going any further, unfortunately.

Everton, Spurs and Rangers can easily make the last 16, and possibly even the last 8. Bolton will have it tough, and Aberdeen have to pray to God to get something against Bayern.
