I also had this racing game, which was 1 of 3 games on one cartridge. It had really powerful auto steer, so all you really had to do was to press accelerate. It sucked.

Anyone else looking forward to the huge amount of games coming out for the 360 next month? Assassins creed, mass effect, army of two, kane and lynch: deadmen.

I am begining to regret getting a weekend job ;_;.

Mike, if you would love a fantastic gaming experience unsurpased by all competitors then the 360 is for you, sure, the ps3 is graphically superiour, but what good is that when you've nothing to play on it? Having had a huge head start in the 7th generation run, the xbox 360 has had countless decent titles, the upcoming ones are just the peak in the graph, all coming out at once.

Assassins creed is a sandbox masterpiece, similar to the earlier made Crackdown, only it actually has a fucking plot, you go around doing things and killin' some people as a dude whose shadow looks like an eagle. There are three massive towns, a bunch of specific targets, items to find, quests to do, set up to be one of the highlights this year.

Mass effect goes above and beyond the expectations I hold for a great game, it aims toward having a fully non linear experience, and from what I've seen of it, you are very likely to have one, it's made by the guys who did KOTOR and is essentially an awesomer version of that, you're a team of space police, above the law, you can do whatever the fuck you want and smile about it, someone is annoying you in conversation? Punch 'em in the head. Plus it's going to have boobies in it. I like boobies.

Kane and lynch deadmen will be fantastic, it's a buddy game, you're a hitman, with another hitman partner that is psycotically insane, you, him, and a team of mercs you can buy ingame before missions, go and do evil deeds, occasionally your partner will snap and you'll have to calm him down before progressing, I can see this being like Navi and her "Hey! Listen", but that didn't make OOT any less awesome, and this game will be awesome, no doubt, you just need to take a look at some of the videos and read a bit about the multiplayer (I wont even go into it now, but look it up, it is a fantastic idea).

Lastly, army of two, you're a soldier, you can play with a mate that's either sat next to you or on the other side of the globe over live, teamwork will be the largest factor ingame, one of you can hold out cover (ripped of cardoors, that kind of stuff), revive the other one (which is done in a minigame where you shove tampons in the wound, no joke!), fire back to back, give the other player ammo when they run low, that sort of stuff, you can customise your characters equipment entirely depending on how you want to play, new stocks for guns, bigger magazines, gold/platinum trims to make you look cool.

Just get one man!

I've seen quite a lot of stuff about Assassin's Creed and that looks fantastic. I'd really like a 360 mainly for the multiplayer elements of things. I'm going to make some more inquiries and most probably invest in one. Fuck they are kick ass!

If you're really all about multiplayer, next year "Too Human" comes out, it's a singleplayer adventure game at first, but when you've played through a level you can put together a team of people online to go through the level a totally different route entirely.

It's also got a WoW like loot system which compells you to replay in to hope you'll finally get yourself an epic helm or whatever you get in WoW.

They've updated the chips with the new 65nm(?) falcon ones that don't turn up the heat as much, so they're unlikely to break.:eng101:

In our house, we had master system, mega drive, Saturn, and a Dreamcast.

Counting all the consoles that I could remember in my house,a NES, sega master systems (both) Sega megadrive (two of them) an atari, 2 playstations, A nintendo 64 with the expansion pak, 1 PSone, a Playstation 2, A Ps2, and an xbox.

Most are broken or lost now though :(
