Need Help Finding A Tv show.

Okay, this will be vague, but I remember watching pieces of it when I was young. I'd love to watch it now, but can't remember anything about it. Heres all I remember, lets hope it helps.
It Aired on BBC three I believe.
The show concept was some guy, I think fell to his death from a building, but was still alive. Except, if he went six feet under the ground, his body started to decompose. He went into his flat mates room (I think) which was partly under ground, so he started to rot, and had to climb up a ledge to stop it happening.

Anyone got any ideas what this was? It lingers in my mind 24/7, and I can't work it out. >_< Thanks in advance for any help you can give too.

Sorry, my auto spell checker failed to notify me. But yeah, that's what I thought, I never liked it as I was young, and probably scared by it. Now, its my main interests. So lets see, perhaps around the eight to ten year mark? My memory Ain't what it used to be.
