So I've seen a few adverts for it and heard some positive reviews, although after not being too keen on Slither (another recent comedy/horror film compared to Shaun of the Dead) I wanted to hear people's opinions.
So has anyone seen it or does anyone plan to see it, I would have thought a few people would be interested in a film about evil sheep.

I really liked the concept. The attachment of Peter Jackson's name is also a good sign, although I did hate King Kong and never watched the end.

It looks brilliant.
I mean, come on. It's got killer sheep. And the line 'get the flock out of here'.
What more could you want from a film?

It does like quite good, and the concept is original. :D

There's nothing better than a film that takes the piss wholesale.

I was really annoyed that i missed it in cinemas as i was really looking forward to seeing it. It was released and then it was just gone. Can't wait to get the dvd though.

It looks fairly fun imo, all the very best gore-fest comedies have come from New Zealand (thanks to Peter Jackson) afterall. I imagine I'll end up just waiting for a DVD release though.

It's not really meant to be taken seriously, I think it's intentionally meant to look silly.

I know that, that was my point.

It's just when people say hilariously bad they usually mean that the film is meant to be taken seriously but due to it's low quality or poor script it turns out to be funny, not that the film makers have intentionally made it funny. Just thought I would clear up that it was meant to be like that, sorry if you knew that already.

Megabump because I went to see this film tonight. It was fantastic really, it delivered exactly what you'd expect with minimum bullshit. I haven't seen Slither so I couldn't compare it to that, and I'd say it has a very different feel to something like Shaun of the Dead, it's maybe closer in tone to Severance or Braindead although less silly than either of those. Still very silly though, of course.
They definitely don't skimp on the horror, it's very gory and the puppets are amazing at times. It's not the campy kind of "haha look how shoddy our film is!" approach to comedy horror, the horror scenes are genuinely quite harrowing at times. The comedy isn't exactly subtle or clever but I laughed out loud plenty of times. I love the comedy horror genre just because I like horror films but horror stories are generally tedious bullshit, so you may as well throw a bunch of jokes in there when there's no action going on.
Definitely well worth seeing if you can.

I went to see it and hated it.
This could be because I saw it "on a date" but didn't end up getting any.
But I just didn't find the film funny, scary, deep, silly or anything. It was just dull.
Black Sheep was the only thing that left a taste in my mouth that night, a bitter one.
