One hours forty minutes til the new series of spooks starts, personally i can't wait. It looks awesome!

Anyone share this view or do you think it isn't as good as it used to be?

I always preferred the first 2/3 series of spooks. After that it just bored me :(

I really enjoyed the part in one of the old series, not sure which one, where Tom Quinn was framed and ended up shooting his boss

Yes I remember that it was a good episode. I think it was series three but I might be wrong.

This series has been of absolutely brilliant standard from the first episode. The entire continuing sub-plot involving Iran is being used very effectively to tie in storylines.

And for those of you who jsut watched the episode on BBC3 (involving satellites), did it not contain one of the most harrowing scenes I have seen in Spooks for many a year? My hands were shaking as I watched that. Immensely realistic portrayal of...the said event and how people would react to it.

I can't believe people haven't discussed this more throughout the series.

IMO one of the best british television series I, personally, have ever witnessed.

Absolutely amazing episode.
Truely harrowing. One of very few times I have been seriously affected by a TV show. Extremely dark.

Even if the school bomb plot was finished quickly it doesn't matter. Masterful plotting and camerawork truely makes this one of the best series we have had on UK television in many many many years.

And what a massive cliffhanger!

As we know they have no problems killing off main characters in this series...
