I recently downloaded the Warez client that lets me download games and music for free.
I know its probably ilegale but is it worth the risk?
Can you tell me what you think so that i can make up my mind about it

It is illegal, probably everywhere, but repercussions depend largely on where you live.
If you're a US citizen, I'd advise you get rid of it.

A "warezed" program is, basically, one that you have attained and can use without paying for it.

I suggest you run a virus scan the next time you boot your computer...
serial, cd-key and warez collectors have a tendency to be infected by nasty trojans on purpose...
A friend of mine had to format his computer 4 or 5 times after installing such programs because of the viruses...
Also, linking to warez sites is illegal, so I suppose you run a risk of bannage if you link to it from the forums...

surley one would have done the trick, unless it got into teh rest of the computer on which case no amount of formating would help...

We have a server at work which has 2 terabytes of disk space.
2 terabytes = 2048GB
but thats a company database for you
I can't see why an average PC user would need that much space, even for something like video editing.

I use warez to 'test' games, if it's good I'll buy it. In about 4 years of warez I've had one virus, and that didn't do any harm because norton fixed it.

Digga

heh. The rule of digga. You use kazaa to download a game, therefore you are an asshat. Using kazaa is about the stupidest thing you want, unless you want one of the following:
1) 1 or many viruses, sometimes on your computer before you've opened the files
2) renamed files, so you don't get the file you want
3) game rips, which aren't the full game anyway and have videos/music/vital elements missing.
Just go and buy the bloody games, if you're using kazaa to download games, just buy the games. Seriously.

Quoted for truth.
Read this: (http://www.wired.com/news/business/0,1367,61852,00.html)
Forty-five percent of the executable files downloaded through Kazaa, the most popular file-sharing program, contain malicious code like viruses and Trojan horses, according to a new study.
Plus, most of those are newer viruses that haven't been detected yet, so your virus scanner (if you have one) won't pick them up, even with the most up-to-date definition files.

one thing you kazaa addicts will be pleased to know. The tables have turned now, kazaa can sue the record companies back for providing corrupt songs and threatening messages throug hthe kazaa network. Funfunfun.

Kazaa's for idiots. You can get stuff on it if you're careful, and really it's not as bad as you make out digga, but it's still for idiots. It's for people who can't be arsed to do any work scanning etc

Afaik, the Warez P2P thing isn't any more dodgy than most of the networks. According to the guys at zeropaid (http://www.zeropaid.com), it's just a rebranded version of Ares. There's probably better progs around. I like Shareaza (http://www.shareaza.com).
