Well the Halo film has been shelved for a while, but the director has produced a teaser of sorts in the form of Halo Landfall, released in 3 separate parts as Arms Race, Combat Part 1 and Combat Part 2, now in one file.

What do you chaps think? Personally I think the directing and cinematography is great, and thus actually believe the Halo film might be the best game-to-movie crossover, as well as a great film by itself. If it's to the standard of the above that is.
