so want dose every one elce think, will it be different/ good enougth to be acctualy worth buying or am i better of keeping resi evil 4 and dusting of the old ps2 now and again when i want to play it?

When has a Resident Evil game been bad? I mean, just because 4 was pretty much the best gaming experience most have yet to experience on the Wii (dead tie with Metroid for me) doesn't mean they can't do even better stuff for it. So it's not really Leon this time, but rather some other dude. Who cares? It's still going to be intense, it's still going to be awesome, it's still going to be Resident Evil.

Well, after finally playing RE4, I would buy RE5, if only I had a PS3... Although at the mo' there are only 3 games I want to play om a PS3 which doesn't really justify buying one.

Resident evil 5, as far as I've heard, Is aiming to be better than 4.
Still, I'm still waiting until resident evil games get scary again. The way they're going it's more action shooter than survival horror. Shame.
Also, In before "OMG they is shootin blax, dat is racistsss." Because It's bound to happen.

Well, it's set in Africa, African locals "iz niggaz" so what the fuck do they expect!? I don't recall any black zombies from RE1-3, but I may be wrong.

Notice nobody complained about shooting spaniards in Resi 4?
Somehow, shooting virtual zombies becomes more offensive the darker their skin gets?
Hell, if we really want to cause offence, Resi 6 needs to be set on an island populated entirely by zombie cast members from the Black & White Minstrel Show.

There was one at the beginning of Resi 2, Marvin Branagh. You actually get to see him transform, which was neat.

OMG, i acctualy remember that, its that black cop at the start of the demo, who tells you to go and do, something.., and when you get back 'he am scary zombie.'
i hope they keep the Mercenaries mini game from resi 4 thougth...(so long as they take out the guy with the double chain saw, who was a bitch to take out.)

I would love to get it if I had a PS3. Looking forward to the story in particular, since we've got some good old fashioned character return twists.
The PS3 will probably be quite cheap by 2009, so who knows.

I'm looking forward to RE5 immensely, although RE4 will be pretty hard to live up to. I have a couple of reservations, like how RE5 looks very serious from what they've shown so far. I hope they manage to cram some ridiculous stuff and terrible dialogue in, RE4 is a really, really funny game.
