30 Days of Night

So, anyone else seen this? I went to see it tonight, and quite enjoyed it. I would have liked a little more character development, and maybe it could have been set up a little better at the start. Overall though, it was good. It put a nice spin on the tried and tested vampire formula. I liked what happened at the end too. I knew it wasn't going to have a normal ending, since stuff like this never does, but I didn't guess the exact details of it ahead of time. I don't think anyone would have.

Saw it On Halloween and thought it was interesting. It's not a brilliant film, but it is indeed a new take on the old vampire story, and there are some good scenes. I was expecting it to be much more Hollywood-ish than it actually was, so that's good.

All in all, better than I expected.

I just came home from it, i thought it was really good, much better then i had expected.

They changed some parts of the comic, but it had some good scary bits.

Ben Foster is just a naturally scary looking young man.

They changed some parts of the comic, but it had some good scary bits.That was to be expected really, though. Film adaptations are never the same as the source material. I haven't read the comic, but I would quite like to, because it'll probably have more of the stuff I felt was missing from the film (character development, etc).
