MyFootballClub Agrees Ebbsfleet Takeover

Football fans website MyFootballClub has agreed to takeover Blue Square Premier side Ebbsfleet Town in a £700,000 deal.

20,000 people paid £35 each and all have equal shares in York's playoff rivals. It is now officially the forum v 20,000 people. It's awn.

Well, Gravesend and Northfleet were anyway. Ebbsfleet isn't really a big place anyway I think. Just the name for the new train station.

On another note, how will this effect the manager? How will he cope if he has 20,000 who want to pick a different team and think they can do a better job than he?

Only some of them pick a team they'd like to see, and hand in the requests. The manager and coaching staff then make the final decision.

The 20,000 fans/board find out the team an hour before kick off, like the normal fans would do.

It's a good ivestment though. I reckon that £35 share will rise in value pretty quick.

I think the real issue here is if the takeover does go through, will FM09 reflect the MyFC structure in place at Ebbsfleet? :)
