If it was an intelligent study of drug use like the plot strand that ran through Human Traffic, then maybe. What the advertisements suggest is a Hollywood story of bullshit and fear mongering wrapped up in a horror film, just like the original Invasion of the Body Snatchers and its ties to communism.

Could be incorrect, but I'll let someone else prove me wrong. I'm not seeing something so depressing while I'm still on a Ratatouille high. :D

EDIT: And did I mention that Ratatouille absolutely fucking rocks? As did Lifted at the start.

I think a lot of you are getting the wrong impression of the film.
Specifically the fact that it's not a Hollywood film, it's Irish. Partly because of that, I don't think it's meant to have any kind of moral or scare mongering to it.

Having said that, it does look awful. Also it has the least scary title of any film. Ever.

On topic, from the trailers I've seen it looks rather pants. The horror genre seems to have gone rather stale recently. We just seme to be doing either sequels, remakes, or rubbish stuff
