Gametap are, for a limited time, releasing Psychonauts for free.

If you haven't got this game yet, this is the perfect chance, because Psychonauts is one of the most innovative games I've ever played. Not owning it, even when you had to pay for it, was a grave mistake.
Not owning it while it's free would be a super grave mistake.

Seriously, it's a fantastic game, and it's definitely worth a free download.

Dang it. I bought it a couple of weeks ago on the strength of yahtzee's review.

It really is very, very good.

For some reason it won't work over here, the gametap program that is. I can get a lot of games but Psychonauts is not there, and when I want to download it through the site it says I can't access it for some strange reason.

We apologize but the GameTap service is currently only available in the United States and Canada. The GameTap service will be expanding into additional countries in 2007 but no release dates are available at this time.

Damnit, I was looking forward to this game.

Well that's excellent for me then, I rented Psychonauts not too long ago expecting to beat it quick but I was surprised that I didn't. Now I can! Hooray!

Same issue with Sam and Max. The episodes used to "premiere" on Gametap, with a worldwide release a week later.

and yes, I do understand the process by which they can tell where you're coming from. Still shouldn't be impossible.
