Windows Explorer crashes whenever I open...

...the Recycling Bin, or My Videos. Does anyone know why it does this? Originally I thought it was due to the size of these two folders, but it turns out that it can open a much bigger folder without crashing, so I don't know what the problem is.

Any suggestions?

You tried ctrl + alt + del ing and ending the process then starting it again?

it would help us a lot if u could post some information about your
Computer hardware,
Operating system version(fully updated with current service patches?),
Graphics card drivers,
if u are running any Spyware or antivirus or firewall software

then maybe we can get a clearer picture of why this might be happening. :)
