I'm beginning to hate Microsoft.

Well after waiting patiently for 45 minutes, I discovered that Microsoft Powerpoint 2007, or Microsoft for that matter cannot edit videos.

So, Forumites,

Suggest me a well-made video editing software.

i actually lol'd out loud when i read that. Never heard of someone trying to do that.

Anyway, a common one is Adobe Premiere, but a friend of mine took to Sony Vegas due to it being a lot easier to use than Premiere. Premiere does everything pretty much, and Vegas was a lot simpler.

Premiere Pro or Avid are for professional editing (e.g.: expensive, takes some time to learn)

Sure it can edit videos.

...If you split them up into individual frames and want ugly looking effects between each one, making your end video run at around 0.5-1fps. Yeah, it could.
But really, anything from this (http://video-editing-software-review.toptenreviews.com/) should work for you. Otherwise, go with what everyone else said.

Seriously though, just use Movie Maker. I wouldn't reccommend using it all the time - but it's free and does the job.

Well I went to this little dandy place http://support.microsoft.com (http://support.microsoft.com)but didn't find squat on editing videos on powerpoint. Just wanted to see if it was possible.

Well, I went through three people just to answer my question. One person, Mel, was asking me for my product #, gave me a service #, and transfered me to services in the US. The second person, Sebastian, verified my service #, and directed me to a microsoft representive, the third person, Paul. 45 minutes was basically consumed listening to waiting-music.

I searched under Google to find "Microsoft Office Support"...And I used the little brains I have, to think "Hey! Why should I read what misc. computer experts have to say when they are being searched under Google? I should go straight to the source?!?"

Anyway, use windows movie maker, or download a trial of adobe premiere
