Have you tried clicking on your iPod in iTunes, going to the photos tab and unchecking the synch options in there?

delete them in the folder on your computer, then sync.

The stupid thing with ipods is that it's either all or nothing. It'll either transfer EVERYTHING in a folder or your itunes library onto your ipod or nothing at all. You can't add/delete individual items (apart from videos afaik, I could be wrong) unless you delete them from the folder you're transfering.

retarded is correct. you need to make a folder called ipod transfer and put your desired photos there. then you go into itunes and check the only upload certain folders and click the one you want. also look at the settings, itunes does weird things to the pictures in formatting them to fit your ipod, so if you want the full size to share, you have to make sure to click that option.

i generally find itunes sucks for pictures, so i put my photos on using disk mode and just transfer them to whomever i want with a cable and look at them on the computer.

i love the ilounge forum for ipod stuffs. very helpful reviews, but also specific areas devoted to specific questions about specific models. warning, full of ipod fanatics, but this is good if you need help.
