Which kinds of game you like best?
Adventure games; Arcade games; Shooting games; Racing games; Fighting games; RPG games; 2D games; Music games.

Primarily: anything with a shit-ton of extras, from Oblivion to Lego Star Wars. I sold Lego Star Wars 2, but with the Complete Saga out I may just buy it all over again. Also quirky, interesting games like Elite Beat Agents and Loco Roco, and epic, cinematic games like Shadow of the Colossus.

And of course, the usual stuffs with gunz and jumping on enemies' heads. I'm not tied by any particular genre, except for sports games, which I'm not so hot on. If they were set in the future and took place to an epic orchestral score, then maybe.

I like all genres really. First Person Shooters are generally good. I'd say an important thing is to have loads of extras and unlockables, or just have lots of unusual physics and stuff you can use to make your own strategies up.

For instance, in 007 Nightfire, the snowy level with the rails (The one that doesn't prohibit bots) is frankly awesome, because of the tricks you can do to get into the rail cars.

Probably first person sneaking/adventure games where you have a bit of freedom, like Thief, Deus Ex, Bioshock and such. But I love all sorts of games really.

First and foremost, I've gotta be able to kill a dude, otherwise I will get very bored, I was playing viva pinata once and after about 4 hours I suddenly realised that the game would never allow me to kill a dude.

Then I played RE4 and it was all cool.

Most. I'm slightly dodgy about RPGs, but that's about it for restrictions.

RPGs are odd... most of them, I play for an hour, and decide I hate them. Occasionally, I play them for an hour, decide I hate them, go back to them in a few days, play for a hundred hours, and name it one of the best games on the console.

FPS's mainly, but I also love historical type games like Assassin's Creed and Stronghold.

Also partial to fantasy adventure games like Myst etc. They're great for passing a rainy afternoon!

as the adventure game genre is fairly dead i'd say i like strategy games best (of the sid meier sort....where there is some focus on managment as opposed to just raising armies and fighting)

not that i play games at all really these days. though i am sort of in the mood to buy a new one lately

FPSs are really good, but then i love adventure games like assassins creed

i'm also pretty partial to sandbox-shooting-driving games like gta, saints row, crackdown etc

Aaah another on I forgot to mention! Strong-story'd games.

I love it when the story of a game is truly so engrossing that you play 8 hours a day for a week and then at the end look back and say "WHOW that was AWESOME :D"

Sadly, these are the kinds of games that often have the least replay value. Examples of games which have done this to me include:

Most sport games for me, FIFA, NBA, etc
But I also love FPS such as Halo. Bioshock and Gears were awesome too.
And Guitar Hero is just the sex.

I can't play the sport games, I usually forget what team I'm on, but I'm like that if I try to watch sport too, I'm usually asking other people which team I'm cheering for...

RPGs are super fun! Unless you get them mixed up with real life... then they just hurt.
