Does anyone know what the error in the 2 screens above is called and what causes it? It looks like the texture is stretching upwards and flickering everywhere in BF2 and in the Nvidia control panel it streches sideways.
My PC does it about once a day, 9 times out of 10 I can play Battlefield 2 fine but every so often when I play it it causes this error and affects all 3D graphics until I restart my PC. Though a simple reset fixes the problem instantly and it won't come back until the next day.
It is not a drivers problem as I have tried multiple different ones, it is not a heating problem as the GPU is only 55'C under strain, changing 3D settings has no effect and the card is only a week old.
Any ideas?
