I've had my Wii for about a year now and I don't really play it too often. I'm curious though what all of you think the best game is. The only games I have played are The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Wii Sports.

I think the reason you don't play it too often is because you have 2 games...
For singleplayer get:
Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition (if you're old enough)
Super Mario Galaxy
Metroid Prime 3

Multiplayer:
Rayman Raving Rabbids (I heard the first is better, and it'll be cheaper. I loved the first one anyway.)
Wario Ware: Smooth Moves
Super Monkey Ball (This is good fun on singleplayer too)

and there's probably more, that's just all I have bought.

if you have a decent supply of people around for multiplayer, get mario party. it's fucking hilarious to own your friends/housemates at and well worth the cost. also guitar hero 3. yus.

Multiplayer:
Wario Ware: Smooth Moves

I'd get the Gamecube Warioware, they didn't make much of an effort with Smooth Moves in terms of multiplayer, the one where you have to pop the balloon is only half as fun when you aren't actually pumping it and the others are all over too soon.

Links crossbow training is out (£20 for a Wii Zapper remote thing which handles like a gun with free game)

Pokemon Battle Revoloution (if your into that)
Red Steel

I'll buy this game for the 360 simply because I play it more often.

I didn't mention it in the original post but I do own Resident Evil 4. I don't know why because normally violence doesn't bother me at all...but when I got my head chainsawed off...I don't know, just kind of turned me away from the game for some reason. I have just bought a used copy of Trauma Center: Second Opinion looks like it will be promising.

Trauma Center is the sex.

It makes me happy to know that someone else in this world uses the word sex in such a fashion.

Mario Galaxy is hands down the best thing on the Wii so far. Metroid Prime 3 is a close second. Honorable mentions go to Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition and LoZ: Twighlight Princess, but ultimately, they're gamecube ports.

You don't like having your head chainsawed off so you play a game where you cut people up. o_0

Yeah, I thought this too. I had some great fun on the GC one, especially the doctor one, and to my surprise they didn't include that in the Wii version. The only multiplayer variant I play is the Jungle one (where you have to cut the ropes) which is fun but they're should be more of a variety like in the GC one or at least make the other games fun...

Regarding the doctor thing in the GC Wario Ware... am I the only one whose friends are too shit to do anything that doesn't help them win?

Kaveman I think you are taking that to the extreme. I'm not sure where you live, but where I come from surgeons do not use Chainsaws to perform surgery. Alas, I'll probably pass out playing Trauma Center...

Well...Mexico may not have the best medical care...but I still don't think they use chainsaws. Probably the only place chainsaw surgery is appropriate is in back woods America...rednecks...

Super Mario Galaxy is the best game on Wii and one of the best games ever. Metroid Prime 3 and Twilight Princess are fun if you're willing to spend a lot of time playing. Super Paper Mario is also very fun.

I don't have many multiplayer games, but I think Mario Strikers Charged is very good. Whatever you do, don't get WarioWare Smooth Moves if it costs more than five bucks. It's the worst game on Wii and one of the worst games I've ever played.
