View Full Version : Films you loathed
Are there any films that you have hated completly............
The worst film i have ever seen is monkeybone
Completly disjointed and gets stuck between a rude comedy and the nightmare before christmas. Not to mention some parts being plain bizzare.
House of One Thousand Corpses.
God this movie was horrible.

Actually...
I keep a collection of movies that piss the flying hell outta me. This all started when I forgot to return these 2 movies to blockbuster and over a year later I owe them over 200$ So now i just find the cheapest piece of VHS in the second hand bin and see that.
Lately Ive gotten a couple that have been pretty bad.
Prayer of the Roller Boys

Omfg did this movie go on forever.
Basically its about this gang of ppl on roller blades selling drugs and stuff. It does star Patricia Arquette, (I think she is somehow related to that girl in pupl fiction, the drug dealers wife).
Bloodfight

Accidentally mistook this for Bloodsport with Jean Claude Van Dam-- But its not. Totally bad, really poorly coreographed fight scenes, pretty funny script tho.
Teenage mutant ninja turtles 2: The secret of the ooze

Not as good as i remeber it when i was five. I mean woah. Shredder has the ability to love.
Theyre are a bunch of others but I'm too lazy to get off my ass and go rummage through a pile of half broken tapes.

Omg dude, what are you talking about? Spice world was amazing!
I don't care what you say, thoese chicks were hot. I don't even remeber the storyline cause I was too busy staring ay Baby Spice and Sporty. But it was well worth it. Well at that age atleast. I mean it's really really hard to find porno when youre in grade five. Looking at the Lingere catalouge in your parents room at that age was risque...
Same goes with Crossroads with Speares.
Wow!

i once saw a film called sabretooth, it just annoyed me so much, it was so terrible, badly animated beast, combined with horrible acting, predictable plots and general annoyance just provoked me to loathe it.

Zoolander - Too stupid for words.
Pearl Harbor - Disney crap. A poorly written love story interrupted by a historicaly inaccurate war.
U-571 - Total, utter garbage. American film studios give credit for stealing a German enigma device to the American navy, but the only enigma devices that Americans ever saw were given to them by the British.

See, I loved those three movies. Now, Blood Work was an abomination, along with The Hulk. Ang Lee should be shot for that one.

I guess I just don't like it when they make a film that is totally wrong about a well documented event. Instead of Pear Harbor, I liked Tora, Tora, Tora, and I thought Das Boot was FAR better than U-571, becuse they were more true to history.
As for Zoolander, well. . .

What about the worst movie of ALL time. It was so bad that everyone loved it. Thats right. Ed Wood's infamous Plan 9 from Outer Space
I think I could sit here and list off atleast a million things wrong with that film but then that would require work and its much easier to tell you to go lookit up yourself on some search engine.
And while you're at it.
I stumbled accross this great website along the topic of bad movies. www.moviemistakes.com (http://www.moviemistakes.com) Its a collection of all sorts of contenuity errors in a lot of movies. Its a lot of fun to browse through but it gets very limited unless you get a membership.

gothika sucked. just about every french film i have seen sucked, specifically the man ont he train, too much man, not enough train, and some movie called time about a con man. RANDOM HREATS, omg i wanted to kill people after that movie, it was so unsexy and completely pointless, the plot ends 30 seconds into the movie.
oh i'll think of more. i am a horrible movie critic, my friends thinki don't like any movies. they nicknamed me siskel, because "he's the dead one."

And I dislike all of those new teen movies like American Pie and Dude, Where's My Car?
Agreed. They boil my piss. I suppose they're targetted at an audience like anything else, but the fact that there's a big enough audience out there that really likes this type of humour is frankly worrying.

Legally Blonde 1&2 (girlfriend enjoyed them )
Home Alone (take your pick)
Crappy sequels to good Diseny films (Eg - Lion King 2/3, Alladin: The Return Of Jaffar or Beauty and The Beast 2)

the memory still makes me shiver, i was misinformed of its greatness. looking back i should've been able to predict the inaccuracy of that information.

I must say though that the 80s teen movies (Sixteen Candles, Pretty In Pink, Breakfast Club, etc.) were AWESOME! They were actually funny, and had some pretty good actors and actresses (Molly Ringwald is lovely!) These days, you just have to be good looking and be willing to get naked and BAM you're hired! I hate that. They really should worry more about quality of the script than quantity of the tit. quotes for truth.
also most sqeuals are quite rank. did we really need american pie 45 and dude where's my car 5. what might make me giggle one the first time through, loses it appeal when run into the gound, something about mary.
and seriously, any adam sandler movie just kills me. he is the same character in evry movie. yelling just isn't funny to me. then only one i can even stand more than once is wedding singer, and that is mostly because of drew.

Yes I do agree that some 80's teen movies were pretty good. My favourite one has to be Heathers.

I was trying to think of that!!!!....I could not remember the name of it and I was gonna type "that movie with Christian Slater involving lots of rain" (cos it's one of the few of his I don't like) but I thought that was dumb and deleted it.
I was highly disappointed by The Ring also. I've seen scarier things under my toenails.
