Ok here goes, I've done a search and from what I can see, there is nothing that really resembles a thread for the more serius airsofter. A couple of mentions of little spring operated gats but we'll have none of the here. There have been some big changes in the law regarding RIFs (this includes airsoft guns that look anything like real guns AT ALL) so if you post here saying "Yeah.. These are mi L337 airsofts me and mah bros play down 0ur l0cal woodz" I WILL be telling you how much of a criminal you are. If you have any questions regarding this feel free to PM me.
So what is airsoft? You've seen the cr*ppy little spring operated guns you can buy down at your local market for under £5 (these are now probably illegal BTW) but have you seen the oposite end of the market? Do you know what happens every sunday all across the world? The best way for me to show you is linking you to a few interesting videos which I'm sure you'd much rather watch than have me just tell you...

Are there any airsofters out there? If so, show us your gear/guns, ask questions, tell us your battle stories. There must be a few serius skirmishers.
If you've never heard of airsoft, feel free to ask about it. There are sites all over the country, you could go along and have a go yourself. Most sites will welcome anyone over 16.
