I never heard of the book, but when MAD did their spoof of LOTR they called it Bored of the Rings too. Fellowship was called "The feeble schtick of ka-ching!" and 2 towers was was called "The 2+ hours."

I'm fairly certain that's fallacy. I can't remember who did but I've read them both and Barry trotter almost certainly isn't by the HArvard Lampoon, but I might be wrong. I'll check later.

I read siome of this and decided to buy the book. Got about half way through and put it down.

Sorry, but i thought it was shit. Theyve just thrown in words like clearasil, vaseline and bitumen in random places, like that makes it funny.

Maybe i would have laughed if i was still 12 or something, but i thought it was a waste of time.
