I was just sort of wondering what sports people play here competitively. (i.e, if you go out and kick around a ball you aren't a soccer player, but if you paly for a team you are.)
Just post them, and if possible, your position.
Gaelic football (Full forward)
Hurling (Full forward line, half forward)
Volleyball (Do best at the front when I'm not setter)
Rugby (2nd row)

Before I started working I was a striker in Football, although I preferred left wing.

I used to play Rugby Union a few years ago, but my team was full of cunts and I was desperately lacking in confidence.
Started off as a flanker, moved to scrum-half where I wasn't terrible I suppose.

Football; Goalkeeper (ex-Folkestone, ex-Brunel University, SAGA FC and The Minors FC)
Aussie Rules Football; Back Pocket (Thanet Bombers)
Also possibly as injury prone as Michael Owen!

Huge respect for this. Some brilliant catches in Aussie rules.

Did get to play against former AFL player Luke 'the Hulk' Holcombe, which was pretty amazing!

I used to play roller hockey for a Welsh division until I snapped my ankle up. I'm hoping to make the jump to ice hockey pending a house move; though I still try to keep my paws in with club politics :)
I was nearly a hot shot swimmer until some fat bitch slipped on some stairs and sued my club.
I used to play cricket for the school.
I play tennis semi-competitively within my own club.
I was on the school rugby team once.

Was playing pub football today. With less than 10 mins left we were 3-1 down. We won 3-5 lol
Used to play rugby for my school, full back or left-wing (I run extremely quickly, and I was just about the best at tackling in my school so it was a good position)
I compete in climbing sometimes, but mostly just see it as a good laugh. Which is a shame, because if I trained for competitions I might be able to get on the england bouldering team at some point, but I just like having fun and climbing very well instead of having not as much fun and climbing extremely well. Meh.
