It was my aunt's b-day today so i was at her house with the rest of my family from 1 pm till 10 pm.

Went for my first day of employment in ages.

Stood around in the Cumbernauld Asda looking right a spacker, giving out Sunday Mails for several hours on end.

Learned to loathe some of the ruder and more arrogant customers.

Earned £33 if things go right for once, which shall go towards my holiday in Skye. :D

today i gave my father presents for father's day, though some remain to be seen due to slow post and sundays. got to grips with holiday transfers also, i think, and decided what i'll be getting my best pal for her birthday. sounds more eventful than it actually has been.

Made a cracking lunch of salmon in a spinach sauce (it works, honest!) with fried potatoes and carrots and noodles.
Played squash.
Played snooker.
Bummed around doing bugger all for the rest of the day. Tried to finish building the pc im building, but failed due to needing more bits.

Spent my day at work making calls and doing other research for a current MOH/HLSBC I&R project, HSIRN.

You know you're a government worker when your projects are virtually all acronyms, your department, commission, or ministry (or all three) can be expressed as an acronym, as can your job title and that of your supervisor. All are true of virtually everything I've done so far.

I wrecked my moms prized 4 wheeler and tore my hand up in the process. I'm hoping she doesn't decide to try to ride it tomorrow or else I'm screwed. I plan on taking it to the shop to get it fixed as soon as I get off work tomorrow afternoon.

The sea otters were apparently acting up because they know their normal audience is distracted by the baby beluga.

at 01:00 went into the woods with two friends to start a fire and drink some beers for an hour or so

at 04:00 went to sleep

at 06:45 woke up and felt silly about sleeping so late on a work day
