FC Twente is a club more on his level whereas he was out of his depth in the England job. It should be easier for him abroad than in the UK since the media won't care as much.

Also, Alladyce apparently have withdrawn his application for the Blackburn job (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/b/blackburn_rovers/7463294.stm) and Paul Ince is now favourite to take over from Mark Hughes.

i immediately thought who the fuck are FC Twente. i think that McClaren will be right at home with a less well known club, he wasn't brilliant as England manager but recently no-one in that job has been given enough time to prove themselves, maybe a bit more club management will prove or disprove how useful he is

he'll be united with ex-bristol city player luke wilkshire!

and Ince has already been confirmed blackburn boss

I like how the chairman is like "90% of the fans think he's shit"...

Should come to England mate, you'll get a nice round 100%.
