#2 has finished saving to my computer. I have to run it through a cd now as it's over 27 mb too big. Also this is the last update to this page as there aren't enough people who post here and I'm probably going to get in trouble for the double posts, so head to the flashchat podcasters group, I'll make an alert there once #2's up.

Sorry for double post. We had a change of plan, it's now a flashchat podcast. #1 is finished and is available now at http://share.ovi.com/channel/Uwthree.public and #2 is being made at 7:30 pm gmt today/tommorow, depending on which way you look at a day starting. The intro is by Boyinabox and it features him, myself, Woody_tng, Dr Phil and Codename_47. Tommorow's shall consist of the above, or most of them, and UMIST_For_Ever. Keep the link as that's where they'll all be uploaded.

Its rather quiet so you'll want to turn your speakers/headphones up. Its very rough around the edges as you'd expect for a first attempt but its worth a listen. :)

Sorry AGAIN for double post, unfortunately due to unfortunate circumstances I was unable to make the one on sunday night, and thus I was unable to record it/post it. If anyone was there (if it occured) and recorded it please send me it via skype. B: Whilst #3 was exporting to my documents from audacity, chris called me on skype whilst I was in a conference causing my computer to crash, so the excitement that was going to be #3 is now going to be non-existent until further notice. Sorry :(

Are you using skype to record it?
You should use pamela which is what we used for the cheesebin podcast (which failed miserably) and it recorded the same quality you could hear in the conversation.

Also I would be willing to join in, I love a bit of podcasting.

I like the podcasting stuff.

My suggestion is to get a specific topic to talk about before doing it and then you can have a good starting point for the convo. It doesn't have to stay on topic but at least you'll have a start. :)

I've just decided that The Metro is a great source of inspiration for podcast "hilarity".

Reading it today there's already a couple of things I think would prompt discussion.
And the price is right too...all you have to pay is bus fare....HANG ON, that's usually more expensive than going to the shop and getting a paper...robdogs!

There's yer update, I'd advise anyone who isn't on the approved list get in on tonight's one so that they can get in future main ones. Check the social group for details on what I'm on about.

ANYWAY, due to Kakarr turning up slightly late and other users thinking he wasn't going to turn up at all and leaving, there was no Friday podcast sadly.

However every cloud has a silver lining and all that, and tonight (Tuesday) at 8pm (GMT) there (brackets) will be another attempt at a podcast!

Kakarrrrr requests that, as usual if you could log on 10-15 minutes before 8pm so he knows how many people will be in it then that would be just fine and dandy, like sour candy!

So yeah, summing up, 8pm GMT podcast, get there a bit before that, I'll never be allowed to post an update again!

Problems sorted. Turns out Kakarrrrr doesn't know anything about sound quality and so was sending podcasts out with red-book audio worthy sound quality when our skype convos are closer to listening to a tin can telephone.
