My situation is basically that the lovely 29" TV downstairs has started doing this annoying thing where it turns off after about 15 mins of being on and then (when turned on from standby) looks like it's warming up but then turns off again.
Anyway, I figured it was about time I shifted my 360 upstairs into my room to take advantage of my pc monitor (19" LCD 1280 x 1024 - HD capable, amiright?). My PC is an HP pavilion job which even has a set of plugs on the front marked INPUT (can do pics if you want). These plugs are marked S-VIDEO 2 and Composite 2. I'm aware of the fact that there are duplicate plugs on the back, but I figure INPUT is probably the way I want to go?
My monitor only has a D-Sub connector on it so I'm basically looking for a way to play a composite (yellow/red/white) signal through my PC onto the screen (full screen/HD if possible) without buying extra stuff. I've tried doing it through the desktop display window, Media Center and the Catylst Control Center.
Suggestions?
TL;DR
My TV is fucked and I need a way to play a composite signal through my PC on the free.
