I was just wondering what the little things that your boyfriend/girlfriend/best friend/person you care about most in the world does which make you smile are?

You know the type of things that to any one else wouldn't mean anything to you, but always make you smile.

Mf bf has lots of things, his most recent sneaking boxes of veggie gummi bears into my bad when I leave his house and leaving notes on the boxes.

My best friend randomly txts me with things such as "Mango, mango, mango MANGOOOOOO!!!"

My boyfin is just there and gorgeous which is enough on its own to make me happy :) but I love it when we have our silly moments; the times when we just lay there on the sofa or in bed and make stupid jokes in heavy African accents (where we are "Umbobwe the Most Graceful of Dancers/ Great/ Mighty" and "Oluwaushi his first wife" respectively). In fact, we were pranking people together just a moment ago!

It's nice when we play a game like Eternal Darkness or Resi 4 together (i.e. me pointing out things and him killing the things) and I just hug him from behind. Even just watching him while he's asleep - not as creepy as it sounds - makes me happy. He's great, so much so that half the time I'm not even sure he's real but then I remember that he is and that makes stuff even better. He's so lovely that sometimes when I look at him I just want to cry.

So jah, in short: I love you mirage/ pseudo/ my vunderful boyfin. Lots and lots xxx

I am perpetually single (incongruous given how generally awesome I am), and all my friends are still in Victoria such that given my busy schedule I won't be seeing them for several months. Thanks for asking. ;)

I will apologise in the event this turns out to be a thread derailment. Honest.

My girlie is terrified of farting, it makes her extremely embarrassed. I ticked her one night until she let rip with a proper whoopie cushion-esque fart. I though she was going to die of shame.

Strangely though she giggles when I fart.

Both thoughts make me ludicrously happy. :D

My boyfriend randomly surprises me with my favourite chocolate bar after work sometimes.

Also, if I see something I really want for my birthday/Christmas, he says he can't afford it but then buys it for me without me knowing :D

I don't talk to my closest friend as often as I should but she always seems to know when I need a chat and calls me up - always at the right time :)

I think one of the things that makes me grin a bit is how much he pampers me sometimes. For instance, I'll eat something with him and get that look in my eye saying "I want another piece of cake...but I don't want to be greedy" and he'll know and say "Go on....I won't tell.."

Or when I step out of the shower and he's there with a towel and a big warm, drying hug. ^_^

It also makes me smile when I feel shy about something because I think it's embarassing or stupid, he'll keep asking about it, and when I say it, he'll give me a hug and then mention something silly.

My other half likes to talk like a lolcat sometimes, but he does it in a little tiny voice so it doesn't sound (quite as) retarded. Usually it's when he's cuddling me and he'll say, "I has a you" ^_^ He also likes to drop the word boobs into the middle of sentences to see if I notice.

My boyfriend and my friends like to pick me up and spin me round when they hug me because I'm 'the little one' even though other people are the same size. Not that I mind.

I don't like talking about me & he really, but I have to say all in all there is very little he does that doesn't make me smile. Just being around is enough :)

My girlfriend is always playing with my hair. She doesn't even notice she's doing it most of the time. Puts a smile on my face though!
Like BlueIncaPilot already said, I'll just cheer up whenever she's around.
Sometimes one of my friends visits me unexpectedly. It's a good thought they're willing to do the traveling just to see if you're home.

Not being one for exchanging presents it caught me by surprise when my best friend told me he'd got me something last year, doubly so as being the skint git I am I hadn't time/money to buy him anything.

The year before we'd gone over to see some friends of the rents, as we do every new year, and played 6-way Chinese Checkers with them. This is not a game I'd seen before but was really.. entertaining, in a somewhat lethargic way. It had a cool method, anyway.

He works at Argos and got a 'Golden Ticket' which every employee sent off with something they'd like from the catalogue on it, and then a few people won. I told him to put Chinese Checkers on his, and it became somewhat of a running jokes over the following months.

It shouldn't have been a surprise that he got me chinese checkers for christmas, but I was expecting something silly and it melted me when I saw it. We play it all the time and it's something I'll never forget. It's only about 6"-6" and flimsy but it's wonderful.

I like how several of my close friends can mutually drive their selves and I into hysterical laughter, the kind that eventually hurts, for no apparent reason. And how hours later a small reminder or signal triggers it all over again. It usually happens during caffeine consumption (TEA!) when we have a lot to catch up on.

I had a surprise call from my brother and his gf this morning, left me in stitches. I had forgotten how much he makes me laugh.
