Just about anything on the Xbox and Xbox 360 is on the PC. KOTOR and Jade Empire come to mind immediately. If you're looking to waste the rest of your life and wallet, then I'd also suggest WoW.

Oblivion
Finished that a few times aswell, was thinking about buying it for the computer instead of the 360 but I want to see if there are any other good RPGs first.

If you're looking for an RPG that you haven't already played on a console then I might suggest The Witcher. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Witcher_(video_game))
It's a PC only RPG released last year and received largely positive reviews. (http://www.gametrailers.com/player/28559.html)
I haven' played it though so can't give you a valid opinion.

Well, if you're looking for a MMORPG, Age of Conan is fairly new, but I do not know any details of monthly payments etc.

You could always get an emulator. I've got all the N64's zelda games, And Super Mario 64.

Do you still play guild wars? Lately I've been annoyed with the grind in that game so I scripted a bot to do it for me. Waste of time? Yus.

there aren't many recent ones I'm afraid. If you wait for Fallout 3 that will be sweet though.

You could try Fable: Lost Chapters, it's not new but it's great.
Or just wait for Fallout 3 as you've probably already played all the recent RPGs for PC.
Also,

They're not RPGs.

I've tried Witcher, but can't reccomend it sadly. I gave up after the first few levels, It's not a particularly difficult game, but the combat system's atrocious, and the English translation's fairly lacklustre. Big load times too, and I'm using a fairly high end PC.
KotOR online's coming soon, but I think it'll be subscription-based. If you want a game to keep you occupied until Fallout 3, Garry's Mod for Half Life 2's a real time burner, and a lot of fun!

Do you have the patch installed? If I remember correctly, it should reduce the load times by about half or more.

You could always look around for some flash games. I've got a thread floating around here somewhere with a short list of some good flash games. You've also always got the option of lurking Newgrounds.com and the like. There's never a shortage of quick, free, and unique games there.

Blasphemy !
Anyways, BG1 and BG2 might be good games but since modern games are being looked for I doubt they'll be very helpful here.
Games of possible (but not guaranteed) interest might be Oblivion, Fable, Gothic 3, Neverwinter Nights 2, Witcher, and Hard to be God... for example.

Patch - yes. And a bit practice. Plus - there are adds, like higher difficulity, just search in comunity or register and ask, people there can probably answer anything.
Seeing Undertones post I suggest waiting a bit - EE is coming out soon, so text will be improved. Load times in this case aren't the problems, my pc ain't greatest and I play game with no problems at all.

oh god neverwinter nights (1 + 2) are awful! I mean I can see what they tried to do but it just doesn't gel at all.
It speaks volumes that both in my head and, I believe, to the critics, Icewind Dale 2, using a prettied up Infinity Engine, was way better than NWN

I quite enjoyed NWN.
Obviously it didn't quite compare to Baldur's Gate or anything...

I enjoy it to a point. The storyline is no worse than the average RPG, and I always love 3rd edition DnD, but it's pretty grindtastic, the difficulty curve is like the Andes (for my character at least, sorceror/barbarian) and quite frankly the graphics are just....meh.
Maybe it's because I played it after KOTOR which has a similar sort of feel to it, but KOTOR really looks like a real environment. In NWN it's so noticeable that it's just building blocks, it looks like a landscape from rollercoaster tycoon.
The thing I always loved about the infinity engine games is that they provide detail in some ways and leave it to you in others. Because they had painted backgrounds with models on them, the environments look lovely and feel very real, and the fact that you can't see any combat is better too - you just leave it to your imagination. NWN treads this strange line where it feels like the combat should look more real than it is (Again, KOTOR did a good job of this) but it just isn't
OK, it's not completely awful, but it doesn't make me want to stay up all night playing which I just found very disappointing.
