There hard to spot but they are bloody obvious when you do see them eh???

What sort of stuff have you seen?

From a film called Tornado the people are in a car and they are on road which has a fat tornado on one side, and in front of them you see this car flying on its side, then as it goes to behind the car(so you see the rear window), you see this random truck just driving. I think somebody did a re-take a or cut-scene. He he.

I cant think of anymore at the moment but im shore i know more!

I can't remember which one, but in one of the original Star Wars trilogy films, there's a scene where some stormtroopers are following Darth Vader through a corridor and into a room, and one of the Stormtroopers cracks his head really hard on the top of the door. It looks painful!

Its amazing how hard to spot, and yet how obvious it is at the same time. I think it's just because Darth is the centre of attention at that moment, rather than the troops behind him. But it happens in plain view.

In Pulp Fiction when Jackson and Travolta are talking to the guys in the room (before they get shot at) you can see the bullet holes in the wall behind them.

[EDIT] Also...In Godfather (part I) when they move Marlon Brando he is supposed to be unconcious but when they go through some doors they trap his hand and he pulls it away.

In indiana jones and the Raiders of the lost ark during the scene in the temple you can see the plexi glass to protect that actors from the snakes.

(also fantastic funny great movies)

In both Chasing Amy and Me, Myself & Irene you can see the camera crew...

In CA it's when Ben Affleck's walking back in the rain after talking to Joey Adams (the reflection off a window).
In M,M&I it's at the motel they stay in (the reflection off the side of a van)

In Chicago, Rene Zellweger has a magic coat which buttons and unbuttons itself several times in one of the scenes.

In Fight Club, Meatloaf's trouser's fall down.

In the Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the poop remake), you can see the boom mike as Leatherface is chasing one of the girls down a corridor.

In Austen Powers (the first one) Elizabeth hurley has a wine-glass which disappears into thin air.

In The Wizard of Oz, one of the Munchkins hangs himself. You can just see it.

In Fellowship Of The Ring, Legolas' bow and arrow catch the lense of the camera as he walks past.

In Goldfinger, about five minutes before Goldfinger is sucked out of the plane (during the witty banter between Ernst Rohm and Sean Connery) there's a mysterious black guy with an afro just peeking out behind Goldfinger. His presence is never explained. he has no lines. Then he disappears.

In The Matrix, Keanu Reeve's hands switch from held behind his back to held in front of him when his boss is having a go.

Speaking of the Matrix, in Reloaded, you can see the steel pole wobble and bounce when Neo smacks a load of Agents with it.

In Eight Legged Freaks (god I wish I hadn't seen that film) Freddy Prinz Junior's goatee changes shape about five times in as many minutes.

Errrm, no, no you can't.

There has been much speculation on this one and it is one of the most famous Hollywood myths.

The story goes that one of the munchkins (or in some versions production crew) became so infatuated with Judy Garland that, knowing they would never be together, he hanged himself from a tree on set. If you watch the early scene with the scarecrow and Dorothy in the woods you can see where this idea comes from (if you watch it like a hawk).

The simple truth is that they were in a studio with prop trees which could ONLY JUST hold a couple of birds without falling over. As with the majority of movies it was not filmed in order and the filming of that particular scene was done weeks before the munchkins became involved.

It's still great to imagine that one of the most innocent and pure movies ever made contains a snuff scene but unfortunately it doesn't.

If you are interested in seeing snuff in a mainstream movie then check out Ben-Hur - during the filming of the chariot scene one of the extras died and his widow allowed the producers to use the footage anyway.

i love looking out for these

The Matrix has loads and loads but 2 of the more obvious ones are

A procession suddenly appearing in the street when Neo looks down from outside the window near the beginning.

When the last gun falls in the lobby scene, the end bends slightly

From Raiders of the lost Ark: When Indy pushes the block out to escape from one of the tombs, you can see the shadow bounce

There are loads such as apparently a car in the background in LOTR the FOTR

and a gas cylinder in one of the chariots in Gladiator

Aww! Thanks for pointing it out, anyway.

In Pirates Of The Carrabien, Where the pirates are all walking underwater, there is a pirate that is walking underwater and when it flicks to the part when Jack and Barbossa (I know thats not how you spell it but hey!) are fighting, 2people are with Barrbossa at that time but there also walking underwater and then fighting humans on a ship, and aswell as that, another pirate gets blown up in the cave but he gets killed after he is blown up (when he is on the ship!)

So what do they have too say for themselfs!?!?

Maybe she put it down?! Doi!

In The Matrix, Keanu Reeve's hands switch from held behind his back to held in front of him when his boss is having a go.
Because he can't possibly MOVE HIS HANDS!

Oh come on. THis is just good sense. You can't possibly expect a metal pole to stay completely rigid when it smacks something at that strength (especially at that length). Don't they teach physics at school anymore?

In Eight Legged Freaks (god I wish I hadn't seen that film) Freddy Prinz Junior's goatee changes shape about five times in as many minutes.
Freddie Prinze Junior isn't in Eight LEgged Freaks.

Oh yeah, and all those Pirates of tha Carribean ones are because they couldn't be arsed to animate 50+ different skeletons. They had about 25 which they reused I think.

I see GBB comes from the sam eschool of thought as me:

If you think you are better at continuity than the professionals why aren't you doing it yourself? It's a movie... make-believe... get over it!

Indeed. Although to eat my own words a well known mistake is that in Die Hard Bruce Willis' vest is white at the beginning, but green all through the middle :P

I thought he was... god, shows how unobservant I am. Someone punch me.

As for the wobbly pole thing, despite what Movieland tells you, smacking someone with a real steel pole will hurt considerably. Enter the magic of props: a fake pole that isn't really steel at all! But some effort could have been made to make it wobble less like a plastic school ruler. Anyway, I'm just sore about Reloaded because it broke my heart.

i remember in the cut version of American Pie there is a cup full of beer and semen being held by the girl, if you look closely it flshes from clear to blue.
i think this is because the censors didnt think a cup of spunk was appropriate and tried to hid it

It was David Arquette in 8 legged freaks

And I do realise it's not a real steel pole, but even a real steel pole would wobble like that. Especially, as I said, at that length, because the moment is greatly amplified and the torque would make it wobble like that.

In HG Wells Time Machine there is a time machine - These weren't actually invented until 2176

In Raiders of the Lost Ark a map bears the date 1981!

Ah but HG wells obviously found out about it when they used the time machine to go back in time ;)

And I presume the map is a product of the afforementioned time machine :p

in spiderman, at the end when he flings himself onto the top of the empire state building you can see it in the background as well, i think that was one of the parts they edited due to the twin towers though, so i don't think its that bad

I suppose if Neo did have super-uber-powers, a pole at that speed would be like jelly... like the way the building rippled when a helicopter crashed into it in the first Matrix.

I am such a nerd.

Also perfectly explainable using physics. It's like an earthquake. In an earthquake you can sometimes see the earth ripple because it is warping and bending. Same thing here.

Then I take back my pole comment :)

Back on topic: if you've got Blade 2 on DVD, pause it near the end, during the sex shop sequence. There's a reaper tongue on the counter among the vibrating man-lengths (it's not really a mistake... but I thought it was a bit strange).

I've never spotted anything else, but in braveheart there's a mini on top of a hill in the distance in one scene.

Quality gaff.
