Does anyone else remeber this short lived cartoon series ? I thought it was great but it got canceled due to religious people oposing. Just cos It showed God (bad thing in the Bible) and showed the main character as a beer drinking, child neglecting slob (Peter Griffen ?) it was canceled !!!

Saw it a couple of times. It was funny. Its a shame it got banned. Like Family guy it was a great show cut down in its prime.

Because we've got this half-assed attitude to religion in the UK, people don't kick up so much of a fuss about religion-orientated things like this. I saw it a few times, thought it was great... but they put it on really late which irritated me. It should have been on at 6:30 after the Simpson's.

In the UK we got the full run but the US only got a few episodes out before the god-squad had it shut down. It ranks right up there with Clerks: The Animated Series (only two episodes aired) as one of the greatest losses to American culture.

I remember it...it was great....it had French Stewart (Harry from 'Third Rock From The Sun') in it.

I heard that it wasn't going to last very long due to some stupid over-religious Americans as soon as it started showing over here. It's a shame...it was a very funny and original show.

Dude, Clerks didn't cancel after 2 episodes.

Funny as hell, though.

Twas - It was geniuslly funny, especially with such a 'saturday family entertainment' character such as Bob Monkhouse (rip) as the voice. I thought it was great :D

*Never seen Clerks :(*
