the colour and the shape is the best album. i like it a lot. the s/t is pretty cool too.

however, there is nothing left to lose was rather bad and one by one isn't much better.

the acoustic versions of 'everlong' and 'my hero' dave grohl did on some us show are really good. you can find them on kazaa.

the first 2 albums are the best. nothing left to lose is ok in places, i like Stacked Actors. one by one - nu-metal by numbers.
all of their videos are brilliant - that is until the standard All My Life video.
Fingernails are pretty... fingernails are good....

it was band because the UK and the US are pussies when it comes to things like this. like that christina agulergrowhatever vid clip. nothing wrong with it. but they band it. just cause she wears some very short shorts.

anyways, "low"- the video shows the 2 (dave grohl and jack black) getting pissed blind maggoted, cross dressing, throwing up, and other very weird things. :p funny as. although i must say its a bit odd. :nana:

Foos need to up the tempo in my opinion. seems all their best and most popular songs are the up beat ones. so next album needs to be faster and louder i reckon.

My friend this is all you need to know:

The original self titled album is reasonable and so I have kept it (having been a stupidly huge fan in ther past). However I think they have seriously gone downhill afterwards. I'm talking really bland pop/rock, a big shame really when you consider the talent behind the 1st album. But overall I think the foo's suck, and dave grohl is in dire need of a slap (and a shave).

But it's just what I think after being mad on them for a year or 2 and then getting seriously bored with thir mediocrity. My younger sister keeps listening to the later stuff and I try too stop her, but alas it is probably too late.

The only album worth listening to (and that said its good but not great):

foo fighters are one of my all-time favourite bands. i loved them for around 5 years and in that time ive seen them live twice (both times they've been in the UK), i own all of their albums (and a couple of singles and biographical cd's about them), got loads of posters, got a load of t-shirts (wearing one now actualy lol) and i basically just adore them so much.

my favourite album of there's is the colour and the shape because it's just brilliant - full of catchy riffs, brilliant lyrics and amazing melodies and plus it's the one with all my favourites on - everlong, monkey wrench (the song that changed my life), walking after you, hey johnny park, see you etc. etc. etc.

my least favourite is probably the first album because it still sounds like a developing band and whilst thats nice sometimes, i really felt that grohl and co. met their full potential from TCATS onwards. I also like all of Grohl's side projects because everything he does is just 18 carat gold - especially the duet he did with tony iommi on iommi's self titled album a few years back, if u haven't heard it - listen to it - 'goodbye lament' by tony iommi and dave grohl - actually, i recommend that album full stop!
