I wanna see the new scenes they shot for the movie.

Apparently they also reshot/redid the Obi wan / Vader light saber duel.

Wahoo!!!

apparently they re-did a whole lot of stuff. I'm hoping they didn't because they've made it totally crap if they did, such as placing old naboo starfighters in the death star battle, changing the old un-helmeted darth vader and anakin's ghost into whats-his-face who plays anakin in episode 2, and at the end having further celebrations, including an old jar jar binks.

There was a whole list of them around a while back, don't know how true they are but knowing lucas they're bound to be pretty true. Can't remember the majority of the list though...

The DVDetails so far all point in the same direction as the Indiana Jones boxset so we aren't looking at the Alien Quadrilogy here :(

On the plus side there is an entire disk full of extras including the most detailed Star Wars documentary ever made (supposedly). Will we see DTS on the disks? Doubtful! Remember this is Lucasfilms home of THX which they probably think will suffice.

Lucas will probably wait for EP III to come out before doing that and then he'll expect us to fork out yet again...and you know what...I probably will as well...damn you Lucas, damn you to hell!! *shakes fist in air*

I think I'll wait until all 6 are released as a box set so I'm not getting ripped off

Well, George Lucas is never happy. He's always triming stuff and adding new things back in, because he cant let things lie.

In fact, it all smells a lot like something wee bull left lying around.

I'm getting a little bit tired with Lucas's retelling of the stories just to plug holes in his own logic. The prime example being the Storm Trooper/Door sequence.

Episode IV - An actor smacks his head on the raising door by accident. However the scene continues and this makes the cut. A goof, but one that doesn't make the story unbelievable.

Episode 2 - Jango Fett smacks his head on the door to Slave One. George writes this in to show that Storm Troopers are genetically predisposed to hitting their heads on doors. Depite the fact that no other storm trooper did that in Episodes V or VI.

Note also that the original prints of Star Wars never mentioned episode IV or any of that malarcky. It was only after a sequel was decided that it was reprinted with Episode IV - A New Hope on the backstory scroller.

Basically, he's making it up as he goes along while trying to make us believe that he has this great "Space Epic" all planned out in his head.

However, I will be getting round to buying this boxset and will go to see Episode III in the cinema. :hypocrite:

I have the "special edition" on video, for once george didnt make it worse (the sarlac actually looks ferce now)

but just wondering in the original were the storm troopers all clones? NO!

so the plot of episode 2 dont make sense (he may fix it so that the cloning labs r destroyed)

it's apparently being changed so all the storm troopers will have the voice of the bloke who played jango fett in episode 2, fixing the continuity error.
