Is this the worst tv channel ever...

Anyone who has sky digital has probably heard about the channel friendly tv.This channel has to be one of the worst channels ever...

A couple of weeks back, I woke up at a friends house after a nights drinking, and as everyone else was still asleep I turned on the Sky....

I found a channel which was just a camera in the corner of the ceiling of a completely white room, except for a red star in the centre of the floor and some kind of emblem on the back wall.

Nothing happened.

20 mins later (I'm not sure what exactly made me leave it on for that long) this guy in some kind of odd black uniform comes into the room and starts talking. I don't remember exactly what he was talking about, but I do remember that it made very little sense. It was completely random.

Anyway, after about 10 minutes of him, he walked off again. And then the room was empty. Another 45 minutes passed, and then the same guy came back to spout some more random bollocks.

Then other people woke up and the channel was soon changed.

Does anyone know what it was I saw? The name of the channel was "XXX Online" (where XXX really represents 3 letters which I can't remember what they were - I think one of them was a C)

I have lived about 16miles or so from Manchester City Centre all my life and until I started uni there I had never heard of "Channel M" which is the TV channel in Manchester.

Having now seen it I can safely say it is complete and utter pants.


And as I only have five channels (no cable or sky or digital or owt ever) I've never really come across any other crap channels I suppose I'm a bit unqualified to post in here but meh.

is friendly tv that one with the crappy babe chat programme- but surely it cant be worse than g-network 223 -it used to be half decent when they had betty carl and geoff but its gone down hill

I've never seen this channel, but it's definitely going on my list of Sky Favourites.

Another abysmal channel is the "Dating Channel". I put it on for a laugh once, and I sure got a laugh. A typical scene:

Er, hullo. My name's, er, Sue, I'm 47, I work in the Co-Op in er, Felixstowe, er, and er, I, er want to meet a bloke, er about my age, y'know, y'know. Did I say I was 47? Er, yeah, I did, didn't I?

Do these people have no dignity?

I would not be at all surprised to find the Windows taskbar on this channel.

I can think of no reasons why people watch BBC parliament, but can see several advantages of watching Parliament live.
1. It gets you out of the perennial London rain.
2. It's warm in there.
3. It's free to get in.
4. Very very occasionally, it's entertaining.

I put FRIENDLY TV on the other day out of sheer curiosity - there was some woman standing in front of a screen with a load of triangles on it - it was one of those puzzles where there are about six sizes of triange all overlapping each other, and the object was to figure out how many there were. Every two minutes, someone phoned in with a guess, and during the ten minutes for which I watched it, one bloke phoned in 3 times. On each occasion he was incorrect. Of course I was there yelling "44!" at the TV set. Had I phoned in I would surely have got through due to this channel's doubtlessly abysmal viewing figures (ie 2-and-a-half), and would have won 550 quid. But I could not be arsed.
