Weebl's Stuff University!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am pleased to introduce to you a new forum game which will hopefully revolutionise the forums as we know them:

WSU, aka Weebl's Stuff University!

Here at WSU you can work towards a number of different degrees themed towards some of the different subforums that we have here on Weebl's Stuff. Successful completion of these degrees will differ for each course, with some involving write short pieces on a certain subject, some requiring you to perform certain actions in the real world, on the forums or on the wider interwebs, with proof being given via photograph or screenshot and some will need a combination. These tasks will be completed over 6 Weeks after which you will be awarded the relevant qualification.

"What is the point?" I hear you cry? Well, with this, myself and Digga (my co-conspirator-in-exile) are looking to improve the forum. Not only will you be able to put your qualification in your signature, many of the tasks will be designed to ensure you contribute something meaningful to the subforum your degree is based on and in the case of the BSc in Noob Care will be aimed directly at helping people with looking after their forum children.

Not only will you be (hopefully) making the forum a better place but you will (hopefully!) be having some fun doing so!

This is still a very new idea and we haven't come up with anything like course content yet. At this point in time we're looking for people who would be interested in studying any of the above degrees, are able to suggest better names for them, have ideas for degrees for other subforums or are willing to help us out.

I would like to announce the first academic appointment at WSU

Professor Timmeh will be in charge of the BA in Mass Debating.

Second Professor is Angry Paul, who will be the Professor for the BA in Football Management!

We now have three members of staff, with Purple Wabbit taking the Professorship in Camwhoring. In addition to this we have finalised our first Prospectus, that of the BA in Football Management. Thread to follow!

I'd like to apologise for the lack of recent activity here, with no progress in the new degrees and whatnot, as life has somewhat taken over. On that note I will be down in London much of this week and will not be able to add anything til I come back, but anyone who is interested in doing one of the available degrees, please PLEASSSSSSSSSEEEEEE sign up! The worst you can do is drop out!
