-_-

Such an amazing young musician... his debut and only album 'Draw' is beautiful. And now he's gone. At only 24 years of age...
And what kills me inside is so few people will realise what a huge loss he is to music.

someone please tell musicians to stop dying this year... please?

on a lighter note: dying often was the thing musicians needed to break through to a bigger audience.

Yeah... I highly suspect that poor Matthew Jay will have a far greater post-humous career in the style of Jeff Buckley and Nick Drake than he had up to now (mind boggling... album got great reviews, critically loved...). Not that it does him any good...

Oh my good god. That makes me weep (inside) I was really looking forward to him releasing some new stuff. That man singlehandedly got me through a French exchange and damn near all of year 9. I loved draw and thought here is a musician that I could listen to all year non stop, and then he goes and dies. Argh. :'(
