Inspired by the fact that against all the odds (there were many many odds involved here) i am in fact going to see........
BILL BAILEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In July......in Watford (im sure its lovely, but i happen to live in Manchester!).........
Im on a mission, since a couple of years ago, to see as much stand up as i can.
Tisnt much so far, since i am pretty agoraphobic at the mo, and i wont go ANYWHERE on my own.....
But....i have seen:
Lenny Henry
Jethro
Eddie Izzard
Peter Kay
(ive also seen aged welsh dude Max Boyce....but if any of you have really heard of him, id be very surprised, in fact id fall over!).
I used to want to see Jasper Carrott, but i think he probably needs to shut up and enjoy his zip up tartan bootees, as his material is seriously OLD.
I NEED to see Billy Connolly,,,,,,, and that will complete my set of biggies.
Minor-er stand ups i would like to see are:
Dylan Moran
Tommy Tiernan
Ardal O'Hanlan
So come on, who makes you really laugh....other than weebl n bob obviously!

Peter Kay - good clean fun
Dan Atkinson - very funny up and coming (google him now!!)
Saw Tommy Tiernan whilst drunk - very very funny indeed, scared to go and see him sober now in case I dissapoint myself lol
*sub point* saw Craig Charles (aka Lister) - and personally didn't think he was funny - he was just offensive save your £££!!!
Our Uni runs a fornightly comedy club for £2.50 - so I get to see lots of newbies. Very chilled with a pint and they put free sweets on the tables. Comedy heaven.

I've seen:
Harry Hill (12 times)
Jeremy Hardy
Ben Elton
Jasper Carrott
Bill Bailey
Eddie Izzard
Harry Hill is a bit toss on TV but he does amazing stage shows. I remember him doing a show in a small town in Cheshire near to where my folks lived and so few people turned up for it they had to remove most of the seating and turn it into a cabaret style show! It was more intimate but it was VERY funny.

Harry Hill really does shine when he's live. i h8 some of his TV shows (TV Burp excepted), but he works for ages with no side acts and is just generally gr8

Im ALWAYS scared when i see live stand up..in case they arent as funny as i hope they will be....and i cant even get drunk cuz i dont drink!
I was very scared taht Lenny Henry woulda lost his touch, especially since i really dont like his sketch stuff on tv...but nope, he was fkin ace....took the audience from 'wet trousers' to 'sorry your mams dead' and back to 'pissing self' so brilliantly....what a performer.
I cant WAIT to see bill bailey! i have to say, I LOVE MY FRIEND LOZ, who bought the tickets about 3 seconds after i told her he was playing!
the guy who used to be in prison...is that rich hall? he is funny!

i have only seen Ross Noble on his Unrealtime tour. I have a signed poster too, yay.
He is really good, go and see him now. It is too surreal for words, but that is all part of the fun.
Sweet sweet monkey love . . .
