well you see, i had this sprite comic up before on the cheese bin(here) but then the forum got that new skin change, so i thought why not start again? and so i did, i give you episode 0: the introduction
(p.s pm me if you have any ideas)

This is good. Very amusing, but I can't read all the dialogue. some of it is beyond my ability to see. Pluses, anyway, guys.

Erm… I dunno how to say this… umm…[list=1] Overall picture quality: In order to create a comic that isn't ghastly to view, you've gotta have a decent picture quality. This will make or break a comic, and unfortunately, it's broken yours. I'll hook you up with a decent spriting program later, once I find the address. You might also want to start saving your comics in .png format. 'Til then, your comic is a blight upon my eyes. Sprite selection: Megaman sprites = Bad. Megamane sprites have been overused to the point that, unless the comic is a B&G fancomic, B&G itself, or so fantastic it even wipes your ass for you, the comic will be automatically branded as a horrible knockoff off B&G. As of right know, the amount of Megaman sprite comics out there is about a billionty kerjillion. Also, mixing sprites from different games = Bad. Mixed sprites automatically docks you eleventeen points in appearance. Try using sprites from lesser known sources, or do your own spriting. Plot: While you do seem to have a good amount of writing aptitude, your current plotline is, well, to put it bluntly, crap. It appears to be unorganized and a bit random. Unless your going for a totally spazzo, pythonesque plotline (which few comicers can successfully pull off), if I were you, I'd step back and think the plot through. Where exactly would you see the story going? How do you think the characters will evolve? You've got to plan this through and build the plot before you lay down the pixels.

You have the prime qualities of a comicer, but you need to rework your approach to sprite comicing, so that your comic isn't just another lousy comic floating out there in the interweb. You have great potential, but you won't reach it if you continue like this. I ain't trying to flame you or anything like that, I'm just telling you from one sprite comicer to another how you need to improve.

P.S.- JPEGs are the satan of sprite comics. Stay far, far away from them. Use a sharp stick if necessary.
P.P.S.- You might want to save up for Photoshop.

oh loaff i think one of the reasons for the unorganisedness is that this has (TWO!) authors, i dont have much of a say in what he puts in his comic, but hes quit now and the actual story may surface (oh and these ARE made with photo shop, just started in paint)

oh you get a brownie for beliving that these two were going to be the main characters, heh...

Still, you should never use .jpgs. Also, when resizing the image, I suggest switching the picture type to indexed color. It cuts down on the amount of blur.

these half customs dont take that long to do actually, concidering im doing them in paint. using a half of blues body with a mega face, then i cut around a blues helmet and copy paste, simple.

first, if you dont get the joke dont ask me to explain it, i dont want to,
secondly i will definatly use that joke at the end where i only use half the word and have the panel cut off the other half, its a great way to swear and still let children read

These are the requirements for fancomics submissions. If you do not meet them, your comics will not be considered.

1. When submitting comics, remember to send via email them to fancomics@bobandgeorge.com for review. Please don't send them to Dave, since he'll just have to forward them to the fancomics email address, and they may get lost in the shuffle and never be seen.

2. Submit at least six example comics. The reviewers need to get some idea of what your comic is like, and they feel that at least six are necessary to decide whether your comic will be added to the site or not. Please make them your FIRST six comics, not a random sampling from your body of work. This is only a minimum, not a limit. Send more if you want to.

3. Please keep the content of the comic suitable for a general audience. If you must swear, please keep it to a minimum. Use the main comic as an example. If you're not sure if the content is a appropriate, send a clean version along with the original.

4. Accepted formats include .gif, .png, and .jpg. Do not send bmp files, they will not be read and you will make some reviewer very unhappy while they’re stuck waiting for your bloated email to download to their inbox. Bitmaps are LARGE files.

5. The fansite is not a free hosting service. Do not send your comics just to get publicity. If you already have a reliable host, put your comics there. The fansite is designed for comics whose authors have neither the chance nor the ability to post their comics themselves. Exceptions can be made for some free hosting services, such as Tripod, Angelfire, and Geocities. If you have good hosting, send your comics to fanlinks@bobandgeorge.com to become Fan Links. So was me. What is it with these school system Internet connections? I guess the filtering has a bit to do with it, but the rest has to be the jackasses running the web servers we have to connect through. It's about as good as having a T1 line (extremely fast connection) but using an ISP with 56K max speed.

well,i dont even run a 56k connection at my school., coz they run OS '95, with about 50 bloody computers, not enough servers, and they have a extremely tight filtering/proxy system

things at MGC are SLOW....it takes me 5-7 minutes(when the servers are being overloaded) to get into my school email (10-15 at peak times,when the servers look like theyre gonna blow)

good cartoons though, and mat, i can teach you to draw, but its japanese/anime style(looks bloody good if i say so myself)

I just tried to get in and vote. I got an error message stating that Buzz is over max connections limit and unaccessible right now. I guess it isn't all my connection after all.

Funny things, these internet connections. This morning, about 7:30, my automatic update for AVG kicked in and finished the download in about five seconds. Zip! Done. I have another computer exactly identical to mine trying to download the update right now. It has been sitting on half full for more that thirty minutes. Go figure.

I never watched the movie nor a single episode of scrubs. I think there was something on another channel at the same time that I was more interested in. Never watched The OC either.

So, how come you guys can get US television but I can't get television programs from any other country? I suspect I know the answer, but I wanted to ask anyway.:D
