what do you think is better Vice City or GTA3?

THis is a really good post i think because both game have extremely good graphic and are for the same console-PS2. I think that GTA3 is better than vice city because i believe it is more fun, there are more places to go, it has more cheats, and overall its is a better game.

Vice city is alot more boring thatn GTA3 because i think vice city is rub ducking poo.

As far as I'm concerned, there both exactly the same and are far to overrated. But VC is meant to be an improvment on GTA3 so...I would go for VC, seeing as I enjoy it more. And surely, you cant judge GTA3s betterness (if there is such a word) on the amount of cheats?

VC wins hands dowm because

a) It has helicopters(hunter, maveric, etc)
b) it has bikes
c) it has bikes and scooters
d) It has planes you can actually fly
e) more weapons
f) more shizniz to do
g) you can buy propities
h) the guy actually TALKS

I've only played GTA of any sort a few times... so I have no opinion on this. The one time I did play, I crashed my car nearly every single time I tried to drive. Oddly enough, when I tried to follow the road rules, I crashed more. If I didn't... I usually did okay. Or I would drive off a cliff. That happened a few times. And then my car would explode. Fun Fun.

gta 3 has a far better map........and is harder (is that good or bad) but some of the features on vice city just rawk.....like helicopters bikes and...the minigun

personally id like to have the features of VC on 3's map......but im mentally unstable so probably best to ignor me

Personally I have not even played GTA 3, but I like vice city enough to say that if GTA 3 is better it's one hell of a game. I never really got into it, but it's fun as crap just to piss people off and run away from them.

GTA2... back when the concept was still innovative... 3 and vc are overrated, most certaintly the graphics... a little boxy to be considered one of the greatest games... also rock star needs better engineering...

i would have to say vice city simply because of the sheer quality of the radio and the fact that its in the 80's i mean the 80's are cool and the graphics are more clear and bright the city is nicer and just better all round:D

What I'd like to see is Vice Citys engine in GTA3s city. I prefer it because it's more realistic and is actually set in the present time. I really do not like Vice City set in the 80s - whats the point? Other than that Vice City is a great game.

Are you Martin Brigg? If so I guess you cant really remember the 80's. You've probably never loaded a game from an audio cassette, watched Miami Vice or listened to micheal jacson's thriller album.
Vice city was made for me not you... :p

Hello Martin. My name is Jim. No offence intended.
I'm sure the next version will probably be set in the present day and will advance the game mechanics beyond VC.
But if you experienced the 80's then the setting really adds to the game. Its a real gem for those of us who know that the 80's were cool because they were disgusting!

i prefer vice city to gta3 purely because of the bikes, i mean, racing down a street on a pcj600 is far more fun than driving an infernus on gta3.

And you can mod vice city easier with vcmm

instead of getting the IMG and TXD editors

Vice City and GTA 3 are coming out on XBox on 1st december on a double pack, so they aren't going to be PS2 exclusive for much longer! I used to have GTA3 and got bored, then I played Vice City.....WOW MAN!!!
