Heh.
Pay-outs will be handled later on by AngryPaul when he comes on.
Right now, I think he's handing in all of his coursework he's had to do over the past 6 months or something...so it might take a while, sorry but you will all receive whatever you've won.
In the meantime, anyone watch the Women's FA Cup final? Arsenal vs. Charlton?
Arsenal 3 - 0 Charlton and Arsenal win it for second year in the row, looks like they're gonna win the Women's league aswell :(
\o/ !500th post in this thread! \o/
EDIT/ \o/ !And I got the 5000th view! \o/

Just looking at betting opportunities for the mid-week. Champions League will be covered by us, folks.
On a side-note - there's a lot of interest in gambling and such and obviously, most of the gamblers are going to Streety's thread because it's in the Sports and Betting forum....
So can you please rally up more folk to come check us out!

People will make their own choice which forum to bet in. I don't see why people don't bet in both. More chances to win.
Nice to see my idea has been used "Zola's Choice".

BOOSH! Checkmate.
Heh. And if you've donated your money to AP then you've lost them because neither team won :p
Results:
Premiership:
Manchester United 1 - 1 Chelsea
Scottish Premier League
Celtic 1 - 0 Rangers
German Bundesliga
Bayern Munich 1 - 3 Werder Bremen
Chelsea grab second place with Man U getting third place.
Celtic are the first Old Firm team to beat the other in all of their games in one season in over 40 years.
And Werder Bremen have won the Bundesliga leaving Bayern Munich with second place.
AngryPaul is still in Cardiff and will pay-out and do the next bets when he gets home. ;)

I will probably allow bets for the Eurovision Song Contest. If there is an interest. Not sure about the Aussie rules match though, I will look into it. (and Port Adelaide was a big big shock).

Well, i'd post pics, but they were 57k  .
K, there's 4 posts like so -
l l
l l l l.
on either side of two big posts, there are two smaller posts. if you get the ball between one of the small posts, and one of the big posts, you score 1 behind, worth 1 point.
l l
l`l l l
- bum grapes .
but if you get it between the two big posts, you get 1 goal, worth 6 points
l`l
l l l l
:D-w00t.
so 1.0 on a scoreboard would equal one goal or 6 points, whereas 0.1 would be one behind, worth 1 point. A likely* scoreline would read:
St.Kilda= 17.5 - 107
Collingwood = 7.11 - 53.
get it?
however if the ball is touched by the opposition of a teammates arm before passing through the two big posts, it is only worth 1 point, if it hits the big post, it's worth 1 point, and if it hits the small post on the full it's out of bounds on the full.
K, if you want to know all the rules, it may take a while, but i have nothing to do, so i'll do it.
scorline may have been changed to suite me, but i assure you that i don't happen to support St.Kilda. *hehem*

I an surpirsed too!! I went to the Swindon vs. Brighton game. What a load of sh*te! It was like watching Tennis. Went to the Liverpool vs. Newcastle game on saturday and the difference in standards is huge. I think Biscan could join Swindon and become their best player.
Sorry for the lateness of this weekends betting results. I have been very busy. I will post them shortly.

I have kept a record of all the takings from when I started my own thread and then merged with AP.
Here are the findings so far...
Round 1 (02/05/04)
Received: 180
Paid: 192
Profit: -12
Round 2 (08/05/04)
Received: 240
Paid: 82
Profit: 158
+/-: +146
Round 3 (12/05/04)
Received: 80
Paid: 54
Profit: 26
+/-: +172
Round 4 (15/05/04)
Received: 112
Paid: 112
Profit: 0
+/-: +172
Most of the profit came down to one match... Port Adelaide vs. Adelaide in Aussie Rules. Lots of people put 50 rupies on Port to win as it was top (or 2nd) versus the bottom team. Surprisingly the bottom team one :D
I still think that there are more people on the forums that would bet in here.... Hmmmmmm.... *strokes beard*

how about you raise the max betting amount even to say 100, 50 is pathetic and youare losing potential betting customers and rupies to The Roulette thread.

I aint going to do the series betting. I think that it is too much of a dead cert that LA will win it. I will be covering most of the matches though.
