I was just wondering how many people on this forum know Camp Kill Yourself (CKY) ]don't let the name scare ye.. it's just an original band title..
I've haven't seen them on the tv and never heard them on the radio yet, but they're really good. They're original, which is rare these days..
If you don't know them, check some of their music here (http://www.islandrecords.com/cky/music.las) ..

They're an american band, not sure if theyre small time or what

CKY was actually first..
bam margera, brandon dicamillo, ryan dunn, raab himself.. that's the main cky crew
at some MTV brought them and the 'knoxville' crew together and jackass was formed.. if you look at the first episode (jackass) more than half of it 'ripped' from CKY 1

I love the CKY skate videos, but Im not too keen on the band.
when brandon dicamillo smears his shit on ryan dunns lip while he's sleeping..
"congratulations!"
pure class.
you dont get to see that on mtv

Then why post?
I do enjoy some of their songs, but I haven't seen any of the videos. Skeletor vs Beastman is just classic, and I do like 96 Quite Bitter Beings too.

CKY is the name of Jess Margera's (Bam Margera's brother) band, Camp Kill Yourself. Bam adopted the name to use as the title of the skate/prank videos him and his mates made. Knoxville caught hold of one, had an idea and Jackass was put together through mutual friends. CKY the band go on to enjoy cult status! :D
Oh, and 'Promiscuous Daughter' is their best track ;)

I've always loved CKY and I think Jackass ruined it, CKY was raw and originally funny, but then Jackass came and fucked it all up with MTV. CKY 4 was a disappointment, but hopefully bam's new show will be okay, although it's from MTV :-(

I don't think jackass really 'ruined' it, I mean.. I kinda like jackass too.. sure it's not as good, but the DVD is pretty fun
also, yes, 'latest and greatest' was quite a disappointment.. bam in a mtv show? I've seen a bit of him presenting the music awards, but that's it. please tell me how this show's called and in which country's it will air..

CkY is about the pain more than the music

CKY are alright, but if there was no jackass, they wouldn't be half as popular.

who cares about popularity?
why has everything become a big popularity contest, i mean you can't even hurt yourself without competition.
