If you have Kazaa or any other illegal downloading service, download any thing by the smiths. Tell me what you all think of it.

i dare to go out on a limb and vote for poop.
but that's not quite fair. lyricly and musicaly = great stuff.
i just find morrisey's voice has the same effect on me as fingernails scraping down a blackboard.
irritating flower waving nonce.
they love him to bits in Latin America, donchaknow. weirdness...

Hows about Morrissey, anybody prefer Morrissey by himself, or the band?

I think the smiths were voted the most influential band of the north west ever! even pipping the beatles!

I voted it's poop to piss everyone off.
If you really like the band (or 'loved' them) then why the fuck are you telling people to download the songs illegally? I realise what I'm saying is contradicting my anti-RIAA stance, but the way that question was asked was profoundly stupid.

That's like saying "If you have a gun, shoot someone you love," to a cop.

I was saying that it's illegal to download music! so you're a dipshit for even mentioning it.

They're ok but I had the misfortune to see Harry Hill's Morrisey impression live and it kinda put me off.

Assman did buy The Queen is Dead, and I downloaded some of the songs before I bought the albums, so what's the big deal, you want me to go and buy 100 CDs instead of downloading a lot of it and buying a few albums to support the band. Its not like your really hurting the band, they are more than rich and most people who listen to it respect and purchase an album, so screw you.
Also I heard Morrissey might make a new album!

first off, I dont like the smiths or morrissey, not my cup of tea.
secondly, about the downloading (hey kid, stop all the downloading)
If you really like a band or group then you should really go out and buy at least some of their CD's I think.
I dont like downloading loads of tunes of a particular artist as I always feel guilty afterwards, I mean, Im taking from their hard work and not giving anything back.
Im quite happy to support groups I like, so that they can put on more live shows and create more records.
the fact that they might already be rich and famous doesnt enter into it. they are rich because people bought their records and will continue to support them.
