ya, its five models put together. the head, body, two feet, and two circles for hands which makes it a bit harder to animate than stick figures.

1: Save as file type .GIF! This is an easy step but many people don't know how to do it. At the dialogue box, go to file type: .gif. Many people have trouble with the frame delay but what you have to do is find the rate that works best for you. Normally what I do is I arrange the frames so that the ideal rate is with the speed bar at the bottom and then select frame rate of 5.

2: Imageshack (www.imageshack.us) or another host will host your image. Click "browse", select the file, and open it. Click "Host it!" and select the link. Highlight it, Ctrl-C, open this page, Ctrl-V, dada!

I hated that book, it was so damned boring. And that Gene guy was an asshole (or was it Finny, I can't remember, the one who didn't break his arm), and then Finny randomly dies for no fucking reason

As for the pivot, very nice. One of the best ones I've seen in a while. On a 1 to 10 where 1 is the Salty Samurai's vomit and 10 is me (pumps own ego), 8.8.

Edit button, please. For backgrounds try File > add background. And the file is not too big. I've saved 1800 frame pivots that came out to over a meg, so unless you've made something at 2000 frames (which I doubt), there's nothing wrong.

I'd give it an eight - nine if I was in a good mood/high. The running style is very good and the animation is top quality. But the throwing speed is a bit off and at the end the moonwalk doesn't look very good.

try archiving it.. i don't know how well gifs can be archived, but you can always try..
also, did you use a gif-editor to reduce the size? they have this nifty little option which lets you reduce the size, by only saving in a pic what has changed, and not the entire frame. I don't know if pivot does that already, but i don't think so..
Also, you could try making the size less by using a smaller pic. I doubt 800x600 gifs are needed for a pivot animation :P (dunno how big your gif is but it could be an option)

Knocked up a quick .zip filled with weapons. There's a hand grenade, a revolver (fits most size 100 stick models when scaled down to size 75) an M16 (not the best but it works) a sniper rifle (I'm quite proud of it), two submachine guns that are a bit like tommy guns (1 with a folding stock and one with no stock) and an uzi.

Yeah, this post is kinda offtopic, and late, i've not visited this thread in a while, but did anyone else notice Mr. MagiC's pivot entitled 'the freak' on page 155 just seems to be a blatant ripoff of MY pivot from a while back? (of ALL the people's pivots to ipoff, he chose MINE o_O that's just plain weird.) Remember the guy with the extra-thin leg, who tried to walk across the screen? Causing his leg to snap off/him to fall to the ground? Anyone?

Meh. i wrote a rant. now for the minus flood. :rolleyes: /edy still amazed HIS pivot was ripped off, of all people's. Then again, that was probably because it's so crap to begin with it's easy to imitate/ripoff. :nana:

It took a long time. First I had to make a single bit of glass, and then deleted the stickman. As he leaves behind a grey shadow I placed lots of bits of glass in this shadow to make the same shape as the stickman shadow. Then I animated them all into what you see now:

Thank u for the hints guys. Its good wen my work is critisised. It helps and leaves spaces 4 improvement. Its all good until someone calls my animations CRAP, now thats wen it crosses the line, but so far u guys hav been pretty cool about it.
Ive done another if ur interested. Ive tried working on the frame rate but the fact that it is saved as a GIF doesnt help ;)

sorry i didnt respond to this sooner, ive been getting very little time to go on here any more.

what i did was make two black rectangles for the health bars and two red ones for the health. when a guy got hit i dragged the red bars farther to the right or left depending on which side its on. the one on the right got a little annoying because the yellow dot was out of the screen so i had to keep centering it and trying to get it back to almost exactly where it was so it wouldnt look like it was moving up and down.

Work on the framerate. My advice is to set the spacing in pivot so it looks OK when the speed slider is at the bottom, then give it a frame rate of 5 fps.

Now, I am no posting expert (in fact this is my first real post). But to me, the fact that you have

1. Spelt "weebl" in two different ways

2. Used black and white fonts, in varying sizes, with no apparent pattern.

3. And left the topic with an inconclusive ending

Means this post is not good. Please, if I am wrong somebody correct me

1. Weebl needs to be spelt as weebl and/or wobbl for copyright reason. Weebl is the proper name of the character, but when they sell merchandise or show episodes on MTV, copyright laws mean they had to call him a different name. Hence, wobbl.

2. I do not see any of that in this thread.

3. This thread does not have an ending. It is continuously updated with Pivots from many of us, and to end it would be a crime to all Pivoters.

Either go back to beginners, or deal with it.

3) How many trainers have you got? Can you actually PLAY any of your games without cheating?

youlikeyams, how do youu do the changes in size? in lots of your pivots you see someone fall, and the screen zooms out, or you see letters go from small->big->small. could you tell how you do that?
also, in the edit screen, there's this button that changes something from static to dynamic and back (with the cross on one side and the dot on the other). what does that do?

Changes in size would be done by changing the size of all the stickfigurements in the pivot, making it look like the screen was zooming in/out. Im pretty sure it's that...

Dynamic/Static alters whether or not that one piece can be independantly moved or not, for example, if the 'thigh' of a stickman was dynamic, he can bend that leg at the hip. If it is static, that thigh cannot be bent -> no movement at hip.
