Right well third time lucky with this one.
Final Fantasy is undoubtably the greatest series in the world.
Use this as your weebl based final fantasy frolics!
To start it off I propose a topic for this the start on...
FFX-2
I have pre-ordered it and will have it on launch date (having already played a bit in Japanese... wtf!?).
Will you?
Are you looking forward to it?

Definatly getting it.
I love RPG's and agree that FF has been the best 'series' of games since the sliced bread saga.
FFX was good but last boss was piss easy, let the game down a bit. X-2 hopefuly they will of learnt.
As I see it if you completed the first how can you not complete the sequel?
X was a good game (if slightly Linear) but of course it cant beat FF VII.
You DO realise that to fully complete X-2, you'll have to play it many times don't you?
It uses a multiple ending type engine.
Gonna be a riot \o/.

why call it X-2? the japs forget that roman numerals do go over 10?
arr, I've not bothered with the series since FFIX to be honest, but VII is truely the king :)
It's X but it's a second one... this it's X number 2... X-2.
And yes I DO believe they should be starting work on a third X.
Just how that would work, I don't know.
I don't even know if the "multiple endings" fact is completely true.
We'll see...

when is X-2 due for release? I didn't know you could pre-order it already..
Pre-ordering? Whens the UK release dates?

No there will NEVER be an X-3, I shall personally throttle anyone who says that there is the smallest chance of it.
They called it X-2 because it isn't 12, it is the sequel to X, XII will come out eventually.
There is a bad ending if you die in the last boss, there is a normal ending if you beat the last boss, if you get five special items, you get the good ending, if you get 100% then you get perfect ending. If you get any endings other then the bad one, they are all shown one after the other. TO get the perfect ending you need to complete the game at least twice due to there being two groups you can work for (New Yevon and the YPA)

Is there going to be a bit of lightgun action in it, involving Yuna or someone? I read it somewere...I would like to see a sequel to FFIX though...
They were in talks early on in the making of X-2 about a possible X-3.
I read around and found that they decided to concentrate on XI and XII instead.
I can't f***in' wait!
Oh yes and Kern... I preordered my copy from game.
Just ask the lovely people at Game if you can list yourself down and if you then want to buy it you can perchase it on or around the launch date.

I desperately need to avoid getting sucked in to FFX-2. A Levels will prevail.
Incidentally did anyone beat any of the dark aeons on FFX?? I got to the point where Tidus and Auron hit for 99999 and Tidus had been all the way round the Sphere Grid but then I gave up.
Yes I have killed them all without using Yoshimoto or something(his name I forget... it's been a while ok!?).
Penance was a bastard let me tell you!
He actually killed me once!
Soooo harsh!
But dude, all you really need is patience.... if you have that (and a lot of spare time!
